Firstly, disco is waaaay coolerthan droid stealing. /cheer4disco
Secondly, I don't know what people do with the packs or the buffs that they buy from me and frankly, I don't care.
What do matterin myprice calculationsare:
- How I feel I should be compensated for the (real-life and in-game) time, money and effort that I put into creating and applying these pharmaceuticals on consumers
- The amount of credits that I have to put up in order to afford the items that I feel are necessary for my game - if the game economy suffers from hyper-inflation and I need to pay out 12 million credits for that looted +3 med exp CA (I won't even start dreaming about my first krayt/ackley weapon that every other person and their pet durni is totting), then that cost is going to be reflected in my products.
This isthe samereasoningI useinincreasing/decreasing my prices.I don't feel the need to justify anything to the"OMG! This is a ripoff!!!" groupies.Every commerciable professionhas them and wealways will. Don't like it? Don't buy. Next!
If the dayever comes whenmy products are ever priced such thatno one buys them at all:
- Consider a change in prices if doing so does not compromise what I feel isfair compensation.
- Offer additionalservices that will make the offer seem a lot more palatable.
- Give it up and go do something else if I will be shortchanged for my time/resources/efforts at current or lowered prices.
Supply and demand. Not always perfect but we can always find a niche for ourselves if we put in the effort.
Rude people, morons, the immature:
- First, try to reason and educate
- Then point out someone/something else for them to do that may teach themin a practical way
- If first 2 steps fail,/addignore
- Occasionally clear ignorelist to see ifthe situation hasimproved, if not, repeat step 3.
Works for me. Helps too if you're also city militia and/or hold the rights toboot outjerksin the guild.
Those not fortunate enough to have more than oneaccountsneed to realise thatthere is life outsideplaying a buffmonkey slave to themassesand picking up a combat profession just to serveyour doc needs to serve the same buff-hungry masses. Many more things that you can do besides feeling trapped in the vicious cycle. Play the way you've always wanted to. As long as you aren't griefing or breaking the EULA, no can or should tell you how to play your game.
Sorry for the long post and yea, DISCO ON!

I think the "beat the dead horse" analogy has been beaten to death.
