And after nurturing it for weeks on end do you get anything? I bet it gives something lame like one unit of fruit.

Best advice would be to look at the Game Guides board, it has a few good posts on maintain the plant and not filling it all the way up with water or nutrience is one of the key things we are seeing. To get a better idea, go read the posts on Plant Care.

Mine is Excellent health, just growing slow. (I must not be playing it enough music!)

G'luck!

Try talking to the plant!...I kid you not a friend has been doing a few trials and it would seem that talking to them may well alter the plant, give it a whirl can't hurt, but may make you look like a lunatic.

We would all like to know the properties of the fruit this plant bears. Right now it seems that the biggest concern is keeping the fragile plant alive. It sounds like it might be easier to grow an orchid from a seed.

Its another Sony ploy to keep players in the game. A doctor worried about maintaining his plant all of the time is sufficiently addicted to keep playing.

If this thing produces a single majon melon, I think I'll have to go to the shooting range with copies of the Sony trademark for a week to calm down.

Heh, I agree this is certainly a time waster. The produce of this plant had better be something worthwhile, or we will have some irate horticulturists on our hands

One thing I think we can take away from posts so far, is that every plant has different needs, and that those requirements change when the plant enters a new phase of its life cycle.

Unfortunately, this means that a water level/nutrient level setting that works for one person may be a bad failure for someone else. The best thing we can learn from each other is the most efficient way to arrive at optimal settings for our individual plants. For example, how big a change do you make, and how long do you have to wait before deciding the change worked or not?
