This is a reward I got from the medical quest. It's a houseplant thing that I watered, added some nutrients, and waited. So far, all I get is "wilting"
Any hints on how to treat this guy? Should the water/nutrients be kept at "normal"? Intuition says to me that "moist" should be better for water, and "above normal" might be better for nutrients, but I'm really ignarant about plants. Also, is there a particular water type or nutrient that I need? Of course there are hundreds of possible water/nutrient combos, it's quite impractical to test them all. I am unwilling to spend a huge amount of time collecting/testing them, unless the produce from this thing is pretty spectacular.
Also, I'm wondering ... if I leave on vacation for a while will it actually die and become useless? That is the typical fate of houseplants for me in RL.

That's just what I thought when I got mine! Except instead of being a little digital creature that can fight, it's justa plant.
However, I was intrigued by the description part that mentioned in its maturity, it bears very beneficial fruits.
Hopefully it's be better than then00b Melons, but hey...

If you do a search on this many people have been posting their plants stats. Mine unfortunately isn't doing so well...but mostly they seem to not prefer high nutrients and high water, this will cause them to wilt....

Ok, based on reading a bunch of posts, here is my theory (which, obviously, may be totally wrong):
I'm thinking that at each stage of the plant's life it may need a specific resource. For example, in it's starting stage (graphic of one leaf sticking out of the pot) maybe it needs "wheat" or something. At the next stage maybe it's "corn". I am really hoping it's not a specific thing like "Rori beans" but who knows?
I admit, this seems like an absurdlylargeamount of work you must do for very little payoff ... but heck, we are talking about SWG here, right?
Anyway, ifyou find a water/nutrient combo that actually gets the plant to its next stage (whatever that means), please post.
And if anyone actually gets it to grow something to harvest, let us know!
My main concern here is that if we DO get it to grow, it may turn into a "Little shop of horrors" type plant.
So, if yours ends up flourishing on "carnivore meat", just don't say I didn't warn you ....

I have been giving mine the High quality Talusian water vapor that spawned about three or four weeks ago and some high quality Fungi (Bedi I think it is, not in game atm). I put in one dose of each item each day, and it was saying mormal for water and nutrient with slow growth This went on for a couple of days and then I put in a doulbe dose of each item and yesterday it said moist for water and above average for nutrient with very slow growth. I am going to check it when I get in game later and change the food but keep using the same water.
Will post again and let you know what and how its going.
By the way, anyone on Chilastra that does not want their plant, send me a in gasme email and I will take it off your hands.

I have checked it several times the 2nd day I had it and noticed it never changed
just give it some high quality water/food

I have no idea what the produce of the plant is, I would just like to keep mine alive for a while!
Everything so far operates from a radial dial. If you "examine" it, you will see what its health and growth status is. There is an option to add or remove water, and an option to add or remove nutrient.
The problem I'm having is that the water/nutrient status is updated very quickly (eg, goes from "normal" to "moist" if you add water), but the health/growth status takes much longer. So if you make a change you can't really tell if you are killing the plant or helping it.
If I had a good idea on how often the health updates, I could check back every so often to try different things. Right now, I don't know of any other way to figure out what the plant needs other than trial-and-error.
