Thread: Don't want to take artisan just for survey/sample? Read this.
Until we can buy Lokian wheat and Dantoine berries, (and good fungus for CM's) then doc's need some way to get the stuff themselves. Make medical forage, medical survey, and make it half as effective (per level) as artisan's survey. It's the right thing to do.
Oh, btw, did anyone else see that those "stims" the Creature-Handlers are going to get also cure MIND?
That's right people, one class in SWG can cure mind. (pet only of course, but still).
Not only don't they have to take a 15 point skill, but they can do something that the rest of us (who did take a 15 point skill) can't do.
Just something to think about.
You don't need artisan skills to get your own resources - buy a harvestor and hire/ask a surveyor to scout out a good spot for you. There's so many people around with survey 4 it should be easy to find someone. Then setup yourharvestor there and you're good to go.Assuming resources aren't buggy and cycling too much, this should last you a while.
However, I agree that medical forage is completely idiotic and should be improved. ![]()

A lot of the loudest of the beda medic types are retired.. playing other professions... many of them burned out.

I have to agree. Doctor/Medics seem to be the quit group so they get overlooked. ONLY healing classes (Docs/Meds/ComMeds) should be able to heal. CH handlers have no business healing their own pets...might as well make a new profession and call them veterinarians than. Its hard enough to make any money as it is..now they wave the nerf bat at us again....
Having to take the survey line so I can craft medshas been a template breaker for me on several chars. I'd love to see this changed.

What do you mean they removed CH needing medic to heal? So now CHers can make stims and heal?
I am sorta confused...is there a patch message with this in it?
