Last time I summersaulted into a kneel i didnt cut myself, get internal bleeding, or break a bone. Also when I just stand there (tumble to standing) I don't seem to hurt myself. Let's take away the damage done by tumbling.

funny what you people do to find enjoyment in this game..are you all really that bored as to grief the tumbler and those just trying to get up to master doc?

tumbler exploit or not who the frig friggin cares about tumblers and random ppl not getting healed in the med center...big friggin frig deal

holy jebus oh the humanity...DethKilLEr didnt get healed in the med center and was ignored by the novis medics and docs even though he pleaded with them to heal him for free (its thier duty as being medics you know)..then DethKiLEr had to stay in the med center awhile because he didnt have the spare points to put in medic cuz he figured medics and docs would just love to heal him whenever he wanted them to.

OH MY GOD! the shame

Yeah, you are right.

Anyone who wants to be healed should be forced to put skill points in medic.

For that matter, anyone who wants a weapon, should bea weapon smith.

Need armor? Be an armorsmith, etc and so on.

Your post is retarded, thanks for posting it.

This is just such a silly request.

- You don't buff people that aren't 'playing the game the way' =you= want them to play. That makes you, in my not-at-all - not even a tiny bit - humble opinion much worse than them.

- I only ground out the last box of crafting in the doctor tree. I did everything else the old fashioned way. It annoys me, though, that others who have gone the same path that I have think they are the moral police for other people who maybe might prefer to grind. Get over yourself.

- What does it really matter if aspiring doctor grind publically or privately? Last I heard, public meant something along the lines of 'available for use by all members of the community.' To tell people that they cannot use the public facility in a manner they want to is ridiculous. =You= go play privately if it bothers you so much.

- LOTS of people signed up to play this game with the hope of becoming Force Sensitive. The path to that is revealed, and no matter how lame it is, if you want to become a Jedi, you are stuck with mastering numerous professions. Add to that the fact that there is now a deadline and that the path to becoming FS is changing, and so people are cramming. If all this grinding really bothers you so very much, go away for 9 weeks and when you come back, it will be all over, and you can go back to whining about campers at the Geo Bio Lab, how hard the Corvette is, and how unalanced every class but YOURS is.

- Instead of wasting time trying to breed animosity and encouraging immature acts of 'rebellion' on these forums, perhaps you can set up shop healing in a med center.

All I have to say is this...

AFK tumblers suck.

AFK healers suck.

AFK entertainers suck.

Anyone who doesn't have the decency to sit at the keyboard and play gets no respect in my book. I mastered doc the real way... by working. It's not my fault that these AFKers don't have either the patience or the ability to master a profession the way it was meant to be done.

I don't think homebreu should take a hit for "grinding" through armorsmith, either. I have nothing against grinding, per se (although I do think you should be in a profession because you want to be, not because a little glowing cube told you so). Crafting profession grinding is NO WAY similar to the other professions that primarily use macros. You actually have to be at the keyboard in order to grind through a crafting profession.

I have an idea for the devs.... anyone who isAFK doesn'tget xp, and cannot help anyone else get xp.

And, personally, I think this is a GREAT idea. I may have to consider this in the future...

I find wound healing a horrible way to earn Med xp. There aren't enough of them. I mean, the odd guy who failed to clone is about it for serious totals, and it's slow.

I always wound heal for people, but I wouldn't want to count on it to get my med xp. I was quite happy to be able to get 24,000+ xp an hour using tumblers in the med center, and I did my time at the keyboard, working on my crafting lines.

Oh, and the fact that 99% of the Med Center visitors, even the polite ones, don't tip doesn't help. They come in ask (or demand) healing, get it, and leave. Sometimes, we get a thanks. They don't care that we use more resources, gain xp at a lower time/xp ratio, use up more inventory space to heal their 60 odd assorted wounds, but they scream their head off when no one is there to heal them, or *gasp* if no one will be bothered to pull off a tumbler to heal them.

I mean, I've made 1100 dollars healing and I had to threaten to blacklist a guy to get part of that (NB: Never run in, offer cash for healing, and then fail to tip.)

This is what all of us docs who can buff should do...

As soon as we hit Coronet, go directly to the med center and buff all of the tumblers in the med center, so none of thepeople in there, grinding their wayto master, canignore the people who really need to be healed anymore. This will leave them all withno choice but to heal people because they actually need to be healed.

They will start hanging out in the star ports and cantinas looking for people to randomly heal, like the good old days and the way it was meant to be in the first place.

Let's leave them to either heal the public as needed, or find a friend to tumble for them in a privite place, somewhere other than the med center, to grindtheir way to mastery.

I do not have a problem with grinding at all, so please do not get me wrong here. What I do have a problem with, is the lazieness that people have devloped with respect to how and where thay are ginding. I do not think it is fair to the community that you arehijacking the med centers for yourgrinding purposes. These are public places where the public is supposed to come toget healed. Not a place for every LAZYperson to come to grindtheir way to maser, at the expense of the public not getting any attention whatsoever in there.

I guarantee that if we all make a stand and make it a point to do this to ALL the people we see tumbling for these people in public places, it will all but stop, and the medical profession can start to gain back some resembelance of respect... At least in the med centers anyway. Lol.

I, for one, will be doing this every chance I get in the Scylla galaxy. As a matter of fact, I am grinding to master armorsmith right now, so I am just going to hang out in the med centers and craft, while I make 100% sure that they are not getting any points for their lazieness.

I am sure I am going to make alot of friends this way (Lol), but this is a necessary evil in my eyes, and I am going to do it single handedly if need be. I am on at random times all day and all night too. So there is not going to be a safe time to get away with it. And if I find that there is a "Magic" time that they are getting away with it, I will set upmacro to do it at those times, and elicit a few other docs to help me in my off hours.

This WILL work! It has to!

I will keep you posted on my progress fellow Doctors.

Please join me in this practice in your own galaxies as well, and we will all gain back our med centers from these hijackers.

So what do you say fellow Docs?

I say you're obnoxious! Seems like you are trying to ruin the game for others just to make yourself feel like a big man, and encouraging others to do the same. You're trying to prevent people from grinding, and yet you say you are grinding yourself at the moment. Unless you are only making items and then selling them, rather than using the practice option, this seems totally hypocritical to me.

If people getting healed in med centres is so damn important to you then stop being an arrogant jerk and spend your time there healing them yourself and leave other people in peace to play the game.

tumblers have helped me a lot, but only private sessions. The public tumblers I buff. Because they spam chat, they beg, they take attention away, they make it so doctors heal THEM instead of people there with wounds!

I love doing that then people are like " woah what happened"

Kk. This seems to be a hot topic.

Just do both!

Myself, for example. I heal tumblers. It is a good grinding method, though it is an exploit. Quick, easy XP.

BUT . . .

When someone walks in and ASKS for healing, I end the macro, and heal their wounds. It is that easy. I will not stop the macro if they walk in and stand there. They have to request my services.

When I am done, I tell them so, and the say "Feel free to tip the medic(s) who healed you, so that they may continue to heal." I have been doing this for a week now. It works. I have not gotten any money off of five people only. The rest gave between 1k and 25k in credits. I have returned tips to actual newbs and people who were short on creds. Someone even offered to give a blue pendent, cux he had no cash. I gave HIM some cash, and told him to pass on the generosity.

Lol. It is so easy, and it doesn't piss anyone off!

It is fine to macro heal tumblers and such. But when a customer comes in requesting healing, do your damn job with a good attitude, and you will be rewarded!
