but I did like some of the current changes I saw when I played tonight. Thats right I said I liked some of the changes in the CU. I'm glad they changed the self heal to get exp after the kill.

Me to, no reason we should get XP for our selfs now that our XP matches that of Combat people.


I like the CTRL+C, character screen. It was clean an efficient. I'm glad they moved some of the more important stats from the cluttered skills screen there.

Onlly problem I found was there are no wounds...and no Modifiers like buffs food etc.


Examples were your weapons speed/melle and ranged defence/ accuracy and so forth. I dont know why they used to list the language comprehensions in the old skills mod list. It was just mindless clutter.

Yeah I like that the weapon stuff shows up also, gonna save a lot of time.


I liked the new entertainer buffs. More exp/faction/and better chance in crafting. Cool. I havent read up in the entertainer forums but are they going to do something to seperate a music buffs and a dance buffs? Perhaps make the different buffs do different things?

Good question I guess I should go troll today and see what I can dig up. From what I do know is that entertainers don't want the buffs....because of AFK players.


I'll give today's rating a thumbs up but I'm still sour about the potiental crafting changes. So I still have to stay on the negative train. Ok, back to you in the studio Chuck.

Well I have a feeling that those potiental crafting changes are long lasting crafting changes. But I'm glad you are having fun with it. I'm having a blast, the people in my guild can't even unhook me from the TC. I keep telling them if they want to play they need to come over and test. I strongly feel that those people that don't get on TC and try out the new system are gonna get bit in the behind. As those that are on it know....its hard to adjust quickly.

ahahaha.....QFE this is EXACTLY how I feel.


I didn't get to see the bleeds yesturday...I was busy getting pwned. Which attack does bleed (Fencer I'm assuming).

It is one of the brawler skills unsure which one. My friend was using it yesterday when we were on Dant hunting bol's. You are really gonna laugh when you see it. Looks very lame. :/

I dont know if commando's have fire DOT's in the CU but if they do I'm dying to see what the animation will be for it.

This could be a bad thing, like it was long ago when we got xp for healing ourselves. Here we were congratulating the dev's for getting rid of tumblers and now we could end up with /survey;/sample;/bacta job; afk'ers.


Just allowing us xp while ungrouped would have been fine. I've left Eisley many times and stim'd a new player who lay there incap in the middle of rills. That's more what I was looking for in a fix.






I agree with your concern. However, rember that you only get exp from combat so macroing will be a little harder than /survey. You would at least need to find a static spawn. As far as that goes if you were going to macro a static spawn then you could just as easily be grouped with a tank and be healing them and be getting 100% of the exp. If you try doing it yourself, now, you will only be getting 50% med exp and 50% combat exp.


As people get creative we will see how things go and tweak as needed. It was clear that having to group every time was not going to work.

I was playing around with Macro's the other night just to see how hard it would be to set up an AFK macro looting bot....It's very difficult right now. I'm lvl 15, and when I set up my macro in the noob groups outside of eisely I actually got incapped a few times. But fighting those things only give you 1xp, but still....


Until they unlock the elites it will be hard to see how macro's will evolve....but currently its rather difficult.
