The modifiers definitely do factor into the rolls. Just take up a novice crafting profession and try to experiment on something. You'll not only have very few points to use, you'll also get poor results far more often than you would at master.

Do the extra 2 points that you gain from the +20 experimentation tapes actually make that much difference then?

I am a wookiee - and I am in the process of trying to get together a set of clothes (no aprons for us wooks).

It is costing a fortune to do this, and before I continue, I would like at least the comforting knowledge that it is worthwhile...

Well, I would say that it certainly does. But it actually depends. On my opinion, it depends in if you're making the meds just for yourself or if your mass-producting them to sell. In my case, I have a med business in Bloodfin and those +2 pointsnot onlyallowme to work on a better ABEC, adding more power to it (not that it does make that much of a difference, but its really nice),butmore important of allthose +12 experimentations points allow me to, when making buff packs, ALWAYS max up on the power of the packs and then use up the extra points to make the pack med use 90 and sometimes, if there is still an extra point left,add an extra charge to it. (But word of advice, if you're not making packs withJanta blood,you will very likely never get to use any of those 2 extra points to add power to your pack).


Also those 2 extra points will allow you to make over 1000 power Med Use 40 Stim E, add power or duration to your Disease and Poison Resist packs and add charges to basically all your other meds.


But if you're just making the packs and meds for yourself, then you really don't have to worry about the med use or having less charges. So Im pretty sure that spending 25+millions on clothes attachements probably wouldn't be really worth it.
