I know many of you will think this is a dumb question but how do you get 12 exp points? I have looked pretty far back in the forums and find no mention of how to get the extra 2 points. Is this a skill tape or jedi thing or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for any reply.

You get +20 In skill tapes. Each +10 gives you +1 experimentation points. Therefore:
11 Point: +10 In Skill Tapes
12 Point: + 10 In Skill Tapes
Anything over +20 is wasted.
11 Point: +10 In Skill Tapes
12 Point: + 10 In Skill Tapes
Anything over +20 is wasted.

I wouldn't call the points between +20 and +25 quite wasted, but they sure don't have the impact of the groups of 10 ... they improve the rolls a bit. Also note that the Doc Crafting Apron gives a +5 to assembly and experimentation on its own (but I'm not sure if any SEAs added to it would be on top of that, if you try it, use a +1).

As far as I know, you cannot stack anohter SEA ontop of the apron. It would be the same as trying to stack 2 SEA's of the same mod in the same clothes, they won't combine.

Those +5 exp are wasted. Exp does not effect the rolls its only assembly that does that

Otherwise what is the point of getting Force Sensitive Experimentation? It doesn't give you additional points but improves your chance of experimentation success.

Because assembly and experimentation in fs branch is the same -.- , u cant base anything from what they call it. Dont just agree give me a proof otherwise. I happen to be a +25 exp and i tried with and without those +5. I cant see no change, in my rolls.

Not sure howany of us can 'prove' anything, but I'm +119 and +15 FS exp and have noticed a dramatic increase in amazings with the +15 from force-sensitive.
Not sure what you mean when you say assembly and experimentation are the same. They are not; there are two 'rolls', one that decides the assembly success and one for each experiment that determines the outcome of said experimentation.

You are wrong on this. Assmebly is a different stage of crafting (before you start experimenting). Your assembly modifier helps you on the assembly role, which only occurs once every time you craft. It's the stage were you lose everything if you have a critical failure. Once you start experimenting, it is the experimentation modifier that is factored into the rolls.

I believe there are two different type of experimentations.
1. The bonus you get for the roll which makes it more likely to be a higher level roll. There are three ways to get this bonus: Bespin Port, Research City, and FS.
2. The Exp that adds to the number of experiments you get. These are added together and for every 10 points you get then you get one more experimentation.
I believe this is the case because when I do not have my +20 med exp outfit on I am just as likely to get an ammazing success as when I do not have it on. However, when I craft in or out of a research city it bonus give is very clear.
