But I've had inconsistent results in trying to figure out what timer to use on my buffing macro (as well as my wound healing macro).
I had some luck with 6 seconds...but after about the 2nd set...I started getting messages saying "you must wait 1 second."
I bumped it up to about 7, and still got fails every now and then. I did about 6 sets of buffs at a timer of 7.5 and it worked, then it still failed in the middle of the 7th set.
Keep in mind that I am in our player city up by the krayt graveyard...so not so much lag, I can only imagine the problems I'd have in coronet under heavy traffic. I can move it up to 8 seconds I guess. However, come on, it said 1/3 the time..that should be UNDER 6 seconds.
I'm certainly greatful that it is now half the time, with is much better than the previous minute and a half that it used to take, but I would like to see the promised time.

I imagine server lag will still screw it up.

I was alone in my town just after server restart when I tested the buff timer.

God only knows what time I would get buffing in Cnet right now at prime time.

Yeah, I'll still keep some Havla on me, but I will be using it much, much less. Unless you absolutely, postively have to get out the door in 6 seconds sort of thing.

Will you be using Havla anymore?
For me, the answer is "no".
Is there a real reason to cut only 4 seconds of the buff timer with it considering the cost?

Why you think of one side ?

Did you ever try to buff with new patch?

I was not using the brandy/ahrisa when i was buffing people before this patch.

I was sitting and my mind pool was enough for the buff people...

Now ?

You have to drink brandy or eat ahrisa !! Because you couldnt buff with your mind pool. And maybe 2 brandies !!

I think this is not NERF to CHEFs... They will sell more brandy and ahrisa now....

Also the period not decreasedof 1/3.. I tested it and you need 7-8 seconds to next buffpack. App. half of previous duration.

Before patch,6 stats was taking 1m20sec and now 40sec. Still you need Havla for fastest buff.. Because if you eat havla you buff people in not more than4 seconds...

I tested buffing since it was pushed to TC. At early design buff timer wasn't affected by wound healing time decrease, but a few days before it came to live it was fixed, in the low traffic city buffing takes7 seconds per stat (-/+ 0.5 seconds) it is the time between system messages (applied buff and redy for another), I would suggest to use pause 8 in buff macros between buff commands.

As for havla I did not test how it affects buffing time, but I assure that havla for speed buffing will be allways used, just because ~50 seconds for full buffing is not considered fast.

Is the standard recovery time now 4 seconds instead of 16-17 seconds?

It is 5 seconds now. Havla would take 4 seconds off instead of 15 seconds, this is what made Havla worth it IMO.

Did it actually get modified so that the change to Wound Healing Speed effects Buffing and NOT just Wound Healing?

Seems that way I buffed a bunch of folks today and even without havla it was so fast.

Another thing I noticed is that buffing uses almost no mind at all now so I could speed buff without even taking a brandy

Weird griggs, I still get the same cost, so my mind dropped fast, and had to take something or be on ent buffs to keep buffing guildies before a krayt hunt.

Stan: That's cool.
Cartman: Yeah, and the sweet thing is, the stupid guy didn't even charge me money for it. He just made me close my eyes and suck on a hose.
