Well, speaking as a doc that doesn't craft (ok, so I'm lazy there, I just don't have the play-time to devote to it
) I like to see something like:
Enh. Act. 945 3:25
or similar. I don't really see the need to add a tag, as the e-mail you get after you buy something gives you the WP, and it'll save you some typing time crafting. I generally save the email as well as the attached WP, just to be double-safe.
One suggestion, that I've only seen one other vendor do regularly.......package the buffs, in sets of 1, 3, 5, 10, and so on, but the lower numbers are important. For a doc starting out, trying to buy a full set out of a vendor stuffed with loose buffs can get confusing, and you'll wind up with 4 packs of 945 at 3:25, and 2packs of 945 at 2:45. Since I usually only buy 3 at a time, myself, trying to find a vendor that sells pre-packed sets in quantities of less than 10 can get difficult.

It is always a good idea to think about what one will see when they take a quick look at pack in their inventory. The above is great since it clearly stats the type and power at a glance.
I put my name in location in the sufix. My shop has been in the same spot for over a year so I can be sure it is not going anywhere.

All N.U.R.V. Meds are Taged using the following convention:
N.U.R.V. Name Of Med Power/Duration/Absorbtion Rate/Other Specific Info/Charges/Med Use
So a Buff would be:
N.U.R.V. Enhance Health D 925/12634/31/89 (made those last night.../grin)
and a stim or cure would be:
N.U.R.V. Cure Poison C 620/45/89
and so on.
You know, that's kind of annoying seeing N.U.R.V. on the icon name. would have to click the item to figure out what kind of med it is sometimes :/
That's why it's not a good thing to put your title infront, It's more convient to put it in the end.
I like BraindG's way of naming his buffpacks.. I think I'm going to steal it ![]()

Nah...its all about brand recognition. Most doctors run macros anyhow, so needing to see the type of med isnt essensial (besides, if you cant tell what type a buff is just by looking at it, you need to be a doctor for longer

I've been a doctor since I've started playing
Started crafting a couple months after.
I don't care for brands. I want to look at my meds and see which ones I'm using right away, instead of having to click on them.
I'm talking small details hon, difference between power/duration. I keep two sets of buffpacks in my inventory, Jantas/Power buffs for myself and my Jedi/PVPing guildies and my so-so packs for buffing publically. I don't want to always have to figure out which is which by clicking on them, I'd rather have them named in the front.
Like the difference between and Action pack and a Poison pack? They look exactly alike. That's what I mean.
I'm a master cm/master doctor between all my poisons, diseases, cures, stims and buffpacks, some of the item icons look alike.
Especially when I have buffpacks in crates, Having the name infront really bugs me, that's when you really have to click on them to find out what they are.

thats a fair comment.
however, please.. for the love of god, dont put your tag at the start of your item..
i hate, really really hate having stuff in my inventory only to have to select it to find out what it is.
for example
*JOHNSBUFFS* 900 power 30 stats etc etc
put it at the end..
make is so people can see what it is, and the power from their inventory.. (when its on icon view)
Quoted from another craftingdoctor who thinks having the name infront is annoying.
People can easily also tell your brand of buffpacks if you just put the name at the end as well
I personally am not into the whole "Company or Corporation" thing. I call all my crafting and mining stuff Pinky Corp, but I think it's better to have your name on the packs so people know you crafted them. Not trying to figure out who owns so so company so they have to ask around. For the longest time, Misfit Meds on my server was the #1 medshop, but noone really knew who ran MisfitMeds until he started branding his packs with his name. I noticed that and took note of it when I started crafting my own meds for sale.
Like for instance you sell buffpack crates, sometimes people won't look at the name on the buffpacks until their last pack. By then the crate is gone and their name is under "Created by: Namehere" so it's useful either way.
Just pointing out the convient things about selling meds.. being able to market your product on your product, etc. No means to flame, this is all just my personal opinion when i started crafting buffpacks.

While we are on the topic you may want to think about what you name your subs as well.
I put the stats followed by the first two characters of the schem then the acronym of the item. For example,
188 1F ALS
Is a 188 poweradvancedliquid suspensionwith a schem that starts with 1F.
This way you can tell what subs match up at a glance.

Yeah - serial numbers in the subcomponent names can be handy. However, I usually just plan out how many of each sub I will need as precisely as I can so I don't end up with a number of subs on-hand at the end. I tend to name my subs for a buffpack run as follows:
aBEC 23 - Health
aCRDM 62 - Health
aSDS 73 - Health
I will only put the serial numbers on a sub if I am running out a fragment of herbivore meat (typically used for stims). In that case, I would name it aCRDM 53 - Sseto (1rhj9yd). That way, I know at a glance in my datapad what herb meat (sseto) goes into that schematic and the subs will carry the serial number as well.
