It doesn't matter how fast people level really. The only problem I see is when people can't find anyone to heal them but I haven't seen it happen yet. Not like you really need crazy skills to be a doc anyway.

How the hell are new Docs supposed to Master their profession in the age of charactershardly ever getting wounded? Especially sincea few of youguys want to move /healenhance to MDoc. I went MDoc thehard way, and it wasn't fun. I also don't care what others do.

You know those cantina things? They've got people dancing and playing music in them, and they deplete their action bars doing so. Go heal them.

Aritsans surveying also deplete their action bars.

And players still get wounded. Espeically those coming back from the insane new "content" of the Corvette and the DWB.

You know those cantina things? They're even better (or worse in your view) than plain tumblers with their action burn macros...unless they got rid of that. Like I said, I did my Doc grind the old fashioned way, so it doesn't apply to me. I just wouldn't want anyone to go through what I did.

Well it takes 10 minutes now for entertainers to find an ID to mitigate their stats so they don't take damage anymore when dancing/playing.

It doesn't ruin the profession but it does churn out a lot of stupid Master Doctors which I do have problems with. I've been asked "Whats Bivoli?" "Whats a Rez?" "How do I make Stim B's?" and my favorite of all "I can't buff outside the med center and can't make a campsite in town. What do I do?" I'm not a fan of tumblers but I would love to /slap ever ignorant Master Doc I've run into. If you want to do thinks quickly thats cool, but learn your trade before you start throwing around a "Master" title.

In my opinion, anyone who spends all their time healing afk tumblers is not a master of anything.

Why are we paying people 10k an hour just because they have ranged support 1?

And, in response to that "I bet you got doc the same way" comment... no. I got doc the way it's supposed to be done... healing other players in combat (who says you need to buff your group beforehand if you're looking for xp?) and healing entertainers (non-afkers, mind you).

If you actually want to master doctor, you should put in the effort. If you're just doing doc as a holo-grind, you have no business posting in this forum anyway.

I personally do not agree with the tumbler grind method, but thinking that you are the police force to prevent someone else from leveling this way is just wrong..

To each his own.. I personally did all my leveling at Ft. Tusken and not only did it reward me immensly in xp and learning how to heal in combat, it gave me a good sense of what I like to do and reward from other players who were appreciative of my involvement in keeping them alive..

If someone wants to take the fasttraack, it is their perogative.. Maybe I will just follow you around a kill/rez after you do that...

Its ranged support 2!

And any idiot can grindmedical xpin the same way while actually healing IN COMBAT just by havingthe other guy /peace against areasonably hard hitting mob and chilling there while spam healing him.

Would you consider him/her a true master of the profession then?!?

But seriously.. who cares, sheesh.. waah it's easier for them than it was for me waaaah.

Face it, as time passes people learn the best/quickest way to do things, its the same in ANY SWG profession as well as real life in general, get over it and get a life while you're at it.

I usually just /addignore the tumblers. However, when I hear a looping macro that shouts, "TUMBLING FOR YOUR XP. TIP ME. I'M AFK" thatis spammed in the med cntr or by the starports every 5 seconds, it becomes pretty annoying. I have buffed the secondary stats of a few of these people. Does that mean I am greifing? Yes. Do I care? No.

If a person chooses totumble for another person's xp gains (helping a friend or guild mate) then fine. But, if a person afk tumbles all day while shouting every few seconds in a crowded location to recieve handouts while annoying the hell out of everyone, thenI will certainly buff this person.

Of course, I do not have the right to tell a person how to play this game, but I do have the choice to either ignore or do something about it.

Try buffing a person for 1000-1500 a stat. You will find no one. Even a newb won't take them. Hell I don't take them even if my HAM bars are at 400. Everyone like myself wants to get the higher and longer lasting buffs.

Actually my buffs range from 1400-2000 MAX. Sure people think they are crap, but ya know what? Wearing ubese and chitin armor, 50-60% kinetic res. I am able to do 11k missions on dantooine. I maybe can understand it for pvp, needing the best of the best buffs.

But for pve? 1400-2000 point buffs are MORE than enough. I dont even need to HEAL myself fighting. Most monsters do kinetic damage, just wear armor that blocks that and youre set.

I just dont understand why people think buffs like that are crap for pve...If I can fight 11k missions SOLO with those buffs, and they can't. They need to rethink playing the game, cause they are doing something very wrong.

Bingo. There is a sad attitude in this game that "only the best will do" Its not true. I hunt in 64% ubese, with no krayt weapons, use +209 brandy, and have over 1 million in the bank. I'm working up doc, and I'll harvest what is avliable. If good stuff exsists, I'll take the good stuff. If mediocre quality stuff exsists, I'll take that too. I'll make the best I can, but if its not the best that exsists I'm not going to cry a river. I really don't plan on selling buffs unless I really need cash. If I do do a buff session at the starport, I'll probably buy the buff packs off a doc vendor that has the best of the best. And then I'll charge the best hehe

At least in combat there's a chance of danger. What can happen to tumblers, besides stubbing their toe on a med center bench?

You can't tell me that an artisan can grind armorsmith without sitting at the keyboard for one second of their entire armorsmith career (3rd party software not included).

Anyway, I don't care about it really. Ifa wannabe docwants to do things the easy way, that's their call. But when someone needs to talk to a real doc who knows what they're doing, they'll come to me.

And please don't get me wrong, I'm not whining or flaming at anybody or anything. I'm just disappointed that the game is saturatedwith lazy people who don'tcareaboutactually WORKING (God forbid)at their profession.
