Thread: How's TKM/Doc for pvp these days?
Which Im pretty sure measn 250 melee/250 ranged
To me it seems like Improved Center should be much higher in the TK tree... i mean its pretty much what allows the TK to tank, so its a TK's signature move. It doesn't seem right someone can blow 11 skill points in TK and tank just as good as a TKM if they have armor on. Maybe 0400 = Improved?
But anyway i'm TKM/Doc, the Offense is sub-par, but you are almost a god in terms of defense. Your best offensive attack is Advanced Combo (ignore what the combat spam says, Advanced Combo does 3x As much as what it says it does on screen, if you do 200 with it, you actually do 600). If you take something like Pikeman, you have your leg hit or impale. I personally am TKM / Mdoc, and 0040 Fencer for the warcry, which is HIGHLY effective. It cuts an enemies Attack speed by like 50%, making your heals much more effective since you don't need to do it as often. You also get leg hit, which you can alternate wiht combo/leg hit for some good damage in pvp. Because you have Adrenal boost, your attack speed is VERY high, soits not like you are lacking in general melee speed.
Anyway, thats just my opinion, butI love this template.

Hello, just a couple of mistakes i think you have made: It is 0040 Pikeman for advanced warcry, and it cuts attack speed by 20% ... I might be wrong though

if you are referring to pre-publish19 warcry yes it only debuffed for -15 Post publish 19 warcry now debuffs -40 to combat speed. a very big difference from -15.
OK thanks for all the posts, I've been relearing very slowly and still like this template a lot, DocTKM can take some punishment PVE but haven't had much of a chance to PVP yet, only a couple of duels.
I'd like to augment the offensive a bit moreand get headhit from Novice Swordsman or something from Pikeman. I'm still Master Medic so I can get a few pts back from ditching the Organic Chemistry line and the CM line (don't really wanna do this I'm enjoying bactatossand area heals

Great solo template for PVE and good in PVP.
I have a TKM/ m. Doc and I have gotten a lot of tells asking if im a jedi whan Im tanking 4 and 5 level 80 creatures at one time. I also love the way people send me tells asking if i would be so kind to rev. them in the middle of nowhere. I have made many friends this way. In the end thats what I feel the game is about. Having fun and meeting new people. I know this prof. isnt what is use to be but if you think about it the game isnt what it use to be. I hate not doing any damage I have to fight forever to kill something just a little bump in the damage for TKM maybe a 100 more would help. But then I am a tank and thats the Temp. I picked. But hands down not having to spend cash on a new Bullet Suit rocks. Plus I get to wear all the cool cothes or just run around in my Boxers fighting cl80s with no problem.
I have Sarahbrightmans exact template and love it. MDoc/MTK and 0400 Pike. Just enough Offense to survive alone and MDoc gives any party a great benefit. I dida lot of testing andLeg Hit (0400 Pike) does the most damage with the least Action cost for any Pike and it isn't significantly less than any 4 box Sword damage out put (yes it's less - not significant) and is much less action. Plus with Sword you really have to be a master to get a great weapon (Power Hammer) while you can get a great Lance at 0400. I'm waiting for a ADK to test the Katern Knuckers effectiveness but it will be better than any other weapon. If those work well I may have to retry my Sword tests.
Obviously MDoc and Master"pick your melee" will do more damage but as I've stressed before - full Innate armor rocks. I've been reading how there is better armor out there now than the innate - but I'll bet mine is quite a bit cheaper and I personally don't have millions sitting around.
