People complain about the game and the Devs in a massive multitude of ways, becausemany don't have that sense of responsibility and can't see the big picture. Unfortunately the Devs listen to this and do a lot of things they shouldn't really concentrate on. They should really just tell everyone to go f-off and do what they believe is best for the good of the game (yes listen to people but not feel the ridiculous need to be responsible for absolutely every little thing). Wookie armour, pulling vehicles/droids/petsout anywhere, starport times, difficult dungeonsto name a simple few (many would say the 2 month Jedi revamp too). All this rather than just getting on with their own agenda.

Mob rule?

Wookiee Armour was needed to make the game better having a whole race that could do Jack in PvP was hurting the game...

As for Tumblers, I just hired one we found a nice little spot so I could heal away...

Hehehe ... that little statement just brought an interesting realization for me.

Tumblers are SWG's prostitutes!

Leaning against the poles, batting their eyelashes and whispering to unsuspecting new Doctors when they walk by... "Hey big boy, wanna tumble?"

LOL

"Tumblers for example have affected the amount of medics who spend time in the med centre. This has an adverse effect on the community aspect of going there to get healed (which was the original intention). Similar for entertainers, not very communal walking into a cantina full of people who are afk (the converse is pretty poor for a start)"

Ah yes the big picture, boy do you have it right. Now, answer 2 questions for me:

What do doctors and entertainers have in common?

How many Master Doctors / Master Musician / Dancers do you see that are NOT afk, and NOT buffing for money, doing something else profession related?

Answers: Neither gets paid, and for the second, I usually never see a doc doing anything but buffing, and dont see very many REAL non afk entertainers at all.

The big picture is over a couple years of poor treatment, these professions have found a way to cope, and now its biting people in the ass and they dont like it.

Droids eliminated any reason to go into a med center to use our abilities. Players want their wounds healed yet there are too many doctors who dont carry wound packs on the account that they take up alot of inventory space or are just lazy about it.

Complaining about tumblers is just plain stupid. It doesn't take away from anyone. Matter of fact it takes away as much as those annoying people standing in front of crafting stations making stuff. *note sarcasm

With the lack of healing needed in this game and number of people with meditation who get rid of their own wounds the number of available patients is pretty small. It was also make reaching master doctor take much longer than any combat profession.

Then again, half of you people complaining probably used the same method to get your experience. Thethe third quarterjust lie about it. And the last quarter only did it on occasion.

The real point is that it ruins the essence of the game. It's not supposed to be about just getting xp. I don't make rants but I make comments now and again, now being a good example.

Unfortunately, "getting xp" is THE ONLY way to progress inprofessions orFS quests or what notin this game

At that time you could actually find unbuffed, non-solo groups to hunt with so you could heal their damage while they were fighting. Things have changed a lot since then.

Do you want to know the best method to get your wounds healed? As very politely at a startport. If it is a busy starport you should be fine. If you do not have any luck, ask very politely on your way to the med center or banking area.

A little bit of education here..... spamming "HEAL MY WOUNDS" every few seconds is not polite and hopefully no one heals you without demanding 50k for your attitude.

There will always be easier ways to get XP then the way it was done months ago. If tumbling is removed then another method will be found. Once tumblers are removed from the med centers, there will be empty med centers......

I NEVER Tip afk tumblers. Same with afk entertainers/buff bots. They put no effort in, why should they get something in return? ATK tumblers/entertainers/etc I always tip. They gave up their time to do this, they deserve something.

Why is it that Entertainers and Medics/Docs are the red-headed stepchildren of SWG?

Seem to be the only two classes where the majority of players feel they are owed something from. Get real already. I've heard so many of these rants its just starting to sound like "WAH WAH, i went to the med center and there was nobody serving MY needs, The pretty entertainer didnt talk to me because the selfish b-tch was afk...."

I've been killed trying to get to my factories because my doc has no combat. Yet I dont see many..."Brawlers/Marksmen arent doing their job and just leveling on dantooine" rants on the combat boards.

Also noticed a complete lack of "Merchants wont sell my crap for me for free"or "Those damn Chef grinders are wasting all that food in practice mode instead of giving me free brandy" threads.

If they want their xp that way, that's fine...but I don't want it to interfer with my gameplay. It crowds up med centers with people that aren't healing thsoe in need, so do it in a player city where there is little traffic. If it is for xp then there is no need for the "tip your tumblers" spamming. And everyone should know that pet tricking is 10 times better than tumbling for xp...you can drain an entire 3500-point action bar in 2 seconds flat...AND it doesn't fill up the combat tab with spam.
