It's the patient's responsibility to tell you what his wounds are, not your problem to sit there hitting macroes to find them. When you make E-packs you're going to want to give the idiot who ran around screaming "I'm dyyyyying" a few more wounds when you find out you just blew a charge on his 10str. I don't even heal my usual group if they have under 30 wounds in a stat - and they're fine with it. If we're all slightly banged up, it's time to go sit in a camp and PL the ranger. When was the last time you went to a doctor and said "Guess where it hurts???" As for/tendwound...when you level up a bit and you can healas fast asyou can regen mind, you won't be using that anymore.

I too have seen these medics that only heal the ham bars. I personally always heal until I cannot heal anymore but my question to you is, why do you care? Why should anyone care? I play this game to enjoy myself, that is 100% of the reason I play. I pay $15 a month to enjoy myself. Simple as that. If I am healing another person, and not charge (I always charge anyway), I am saving them some time. They would have no right to complain if I didn't feel like healing their substats. I would be doing them a favor and they should be grateful for what they get. Simple as that. I don't play this game to make sure everyone else has a good time and enjoys themselves and heals quickly. I play this game to enjoy MYSELF. If I don't want to heal a persons substats, that is my choice, I'm certainly not required to do so anymore than I'm required to heal people for free.

If/When I hang out in a Med Cen, I normally use the same one. Hehe, I've had a few Novice Medics emote groans and oh-no's here comes Meddix , he heals too **edit** fast! ...hehehe....they've alll been in good jest too, which is nice.

I also leave some black showing, so they novice healers have some work to do. It's a lot of fun to hear the OMG too from the patients when you hit them and they see you rip out a 200-300 Health/Action heal.

I do like the current trend. The novice medics heal what they can, novice doctors heal more might charge some for the extra speed and then the MD stand around till someone pays for service.

Let the patient decide how fast they want to heal. Let the medics know to go in the field for better xp and let the novice doctors get thier xp. Everyone is happy.

I also don't do a "complete" heal I guess, not unless specifically asked to.

Of course with the stat loss bug, healing secondaries doesn't actually help the patient unless they then log off fully, eat, or die....

I do almost the same as Archon. I walk into the MC (if it's busy), and hit the macro key I have programmed that says something to the effect:

" I am a Master Doctor for Hire. I only use highly experimented Wound E kits. I can have you on your way in under 3 minutes. Once we negotiate a payment, and payment is made, you'll have my complete attention until your wounds are healed."

I too pretty much have a flat fee of 3k I will do it for 1k if there are no secondary wounds, and I don't have to use 6 charges. Depends on my mood that day. I do keep my charge at a minimum 1k. Seems to work really well actually. I don't argue with people, and just /shrug the flamers who think I should heal them for free. I always state that there are novice medics that don't mind healing for free, and may be able to help them
