Thread: Bank tips no longer use Upper case on names...
One of the original reasons to have a bank was to keep your money safe if you die. Non-issue since like day 2 of launch... But the bank is still a valid vehicle: Tipping across a distance, or receiver is offline.
Guildmate on some other planet says through guild chat, "Damn, I still need another 50k to get this armor."
/tip guildmate 50000 bank
I like that I can do that..
If the person you are buffing hasa first name and last name then there won't be a problem. If a player sends you an email then it will be first name only. If the system sends you an email from a player (by way of bank tip) then it'll still be first name last name just lowercase.
A very simple fix would be you get a system message everytime someone sends you moneyand if the system sends you an email the person's name is all upper case and if a player sends you an email it's all lower case regardless of how the player has their name done.
Another very simple fix would be to have any system emails about tips to have a sender of 'system' instead of the persons name. It'll still say in the text who sent it.
Am I the only player that notices system messages.... I didn't even KNOW there was an email for bank tips (since I just delete all my mail - nothing I wanna see there).
NO SYSTEM MESSAGE = NO TIP
WHAT CAN BE SIMPLER???
The distinction between cash and bank credits is useless now. It meant something when there were corpses to loot, but that system is no longer in place. One solution is to just have one credit location and that can be cash (such that we don't have the bank tip issue).

I honestly don't understand all these threads. Its like an outcry because we don't know how much XP we are earning per kill. READ THE FRIGGIN MESSAGE. It is very clear.

Some people think that receiving tips via the bank are easier because you can automatically queue everyone that tips you... you just work through buffing in the order that the emails are received. Makes things very straight-forward.
It really isn't necessary to insult people who have opinions that you don't agree with.
And we aren't complaining for the sake of complaining. We are trying to raise the awareness of a piece of functionality that used to bereliable before the patch, but now isn't quite as reliable.

There is no system message for bank tips.

We know that, simply move along. Just think of them as if they were some little stories, but since their greater meaning escapes you just hit the lill x in the upper right corner and the bad things will go away.(eventually)

you guyz just don't know anything about coding such a game, they have thousands of issues to take care of, and guess what ? they're doing pretty good at this, but just cause YOU don't get the fix you wanted RIGHT NOW you blame the devs.
I play since november, since then, all the new patch's features were AWESOME (vehicles, BE revamp, mounts, player's cities, DE revamp, chef revamp, a few BH fixes, a few other fixes, current combat full revamp, current battlefiels revamp etc....) and of course a few bugs, the only things people see and complain about.

He's right guys. Almost all of my Pistoleer specials haven't workedfrom day one, and I really dont miss the items that dissapeared from my house...
But Hey! I can paint my bike (for a few days), and I make too much money selling buffs anyways. Best the money should go to 12 year old scammers who are smarter than me.
