...don't be stupid people

... do you really think they pay the devs to actually make the game worse?...or more unfair? ...or more 'un-Star Wars'. Sounds to me like some of us need to get back the basics, like why we chose this profession in the first place.

the people

the healing

and lets be truthful, chicks dig the docs... hehe.... oh.... and bounty hunters

if you are in this for the creds , well, go buff yourself and grind out artisan or something.....

Actually, the Devs have said something. They're re-doing the stat pools and the way wounds, damage and specials costs are distributed, depleted, and regenerated, so I think docs who have untold millions of credits sunk into resources and tapes and whatever have a right to be curious about the status of buffs.

All other crafting profs (except possibly chef) will remain largely the same. We might not.And it's not a matter of demanding to hear secrets before they're due, it's a matter of us docs who actually craft our own product wanting to know whether it's a huge waste of time and credits--in this interim before the rebalance--to invest more into buffs as we know them.

I'm sure there will still be enhancements of some sort--and the viability of doc (and entertainers) retained somehow--but if the present HAM enhancement system and the resources that go into it are due to change enormously, a simple "yes, it's a waste of time"or "no, it's not"from the devs would be great.

Good thing I decided to be Master Doc and Master Dancer, huh?

*Ahem* This is at least one place I know of where the devs have specifically mentioned buffs will be balanced

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Developers&message.id=56182

To cut to the chase for those who don't want to read through Thunderheart's post:

  • Buffs and HAM drain/regeneration put back into balance.

  • The only thing we don't know is how they're going to balance buffs, suffice to say we know it's going to be in the downward direction.

    kthxbye.
