wow thats hella lame they need to at least make it so you don't have to wait to long, or make it so a master doc can /stomicpump
Yes! I'm all for stomach pumps for docs. That way, I can keep my figure without having to be bulimic!

Amen.
Even though I am a doctor I find it despicable that medics skip the whole healing phase in order to grind to doctor - thinking that buffing is going to solve all their problems and make them oodles of money. They don't establish the links with upcoming rangers by healing in hunting parties (needed for the resources to make your own buffs, unless they fancy paying 150CPU for Avian), they don't learn how to work with a group (and then they get killed going on trips to DWB or Corvette because they only know how to heal tumblers with Stim B's - they don't know about poison, disease, fire blankets, state cures adnd the like) and they just piss other players off by ignoring them in the med centre. They stand around in the medical centre wasting endless stim Bs on tumblemonkeys who could surely make much more money an hour getting a buff and going hunting (whats the rate these days? 10k an hour? 20? Even as a decent brawler/marksman you can make more than that back running crappy missions on Coronet) and I have even see them complain about levelling taking too long - whilst ignoring patients sitting on the beds with genuine wounds. I used to send wounded people to the med centre to help out the novice medics and doctors, but realise that when they get there no one is willing to help them - so I now heal them myself as part of the buffing process (major wounds incur a small charge to cover my packs though)
Tumbling should be limited to combat - its silly and hardly used properly anyway (how many people actually use it in combat)...

I cant believe yuou guys are whining about NOT being able to exploit the system. As for the general ninja buffs, it can be annoying, but you can always have them overbuffed by a master doc for 10k, so who cares?
The man has a point. Ultimately it's an exploit, the same way teaching someone a skill 20 times for app xp is an exploit.
This guy is perfectly within his rights to think he is doing everyone a favour, given that these are heal enhancements and last time I checked the word enhancements has entirely positive connotations. If he's doing it on purpose then sure, it's annoying, but then whatever happened to levelling doc/medic from actually putting your medic abilities to good use? I agree 100%! Taking tumbling out of the game would be a quick, easy fix--and it would be a long stride towards bringing the doctor/medic professions back in the directionwhere they used to be.
But guess what, if there wasn't tumbling, there'd be the Warcry at a lair, or you could heal two people dueling, or you can simply go into a cantina and heal dancers, or you ninja buff everyone in sight, or you could borrow a CM and heal diseased people, or poisoned people.
The simple fact is, no one is going to take 2 months of healing group members in outings to make Master Doc (like I did...wasn't in any hurry).
So put up with tumblers. Heck, drop Doc, (to get a vendor), find a tumbler yourself to get doc back and appreciate them.

I was in the med center getting ready to do one of the "pet tumbles" for those of you who do not know what it is: your tell your pet to do Trick 1 over and over very fast, It nakes your action drop very very fast and you can get 4440 of doc in 2 hours.
Well anyway, i was getting ready to do one of these tumbles when a character by the name of yourmoma comes in a "Ninja Buffs" me starting with sta, qck, str, then con.
If you have the secondaires then the tumble can not be done, I was mad at the time beacause I had gotten a dancers mind buffs, then drank 2 brandys and was unable to tumble.
I was just wondering if it was aginst the rules to go around and buff random people, this guy just pops up out of the bule in the med center and go around buffing everone there without ask first. His lame excuse was "last time i checked this was a med center" like the fact that I was in the med center gave him the right to buff me and others that did not want them for xp.
And you are coming to the board, why? Firstly, you are taking advantage of an aspect of the game and using that tool/system to your advantage and not as was intended. And yet you complain that another is doing the same? There is a word for that.
1. Tumbling and afk entertainers are the 2 main reasons for recursive macroes being removed from the game. Both were not intended, but both occur so regularly that some people feel it is ok or "legal". To answer your question,...Ninja buffing is not an exploit...but under certain circumstances can be construed as griefing, but not in this situation...the CSR will do nothing as you are exploiting a system, then complaining of a player stopping you in doing so....
2. And finally one poster put it the absolute best. Passing out heals and minor buffs to newer players in mos eisley is precisely what a baby doc should be doing. You should be healing wounds, going with groups and healing party members (of course this last one is largely impossible with the current buff system and solo groups), should try and heal people as they spawn in starports, or at the cantina giving heals to the dancers and musicians. Not grinding out doc in 2 hours...I can't wait till tumbling is GONE from the game.
Almost everything else is hours and at most days to master.
