Hi everyone,

I am a dedicated Doc on Bloodfin. I just opened a shop and want to support my guild and all. I have the hardest time to find any decent creatures that drop avian meat, does anybody have any suggestions?

When I go out hunitng avian meat for my friend i usually head to Lok and kill pekos and some other bird i cant remember the name of. Its not the safest place to do it but it works for me. Also i believe you can kill nunas on naboo for some avian meat. And Ill also throw in herbivore meat if anyone wants to know. I usually hunt banthas near mos taike for large amounts of herbivore meat. Also quality is random so if you want high quality meat it shifts just like other resources. Sometimes the best meat will be on naboo, sometimes Lok.

There are lots of carrion spats on Corellia near my place that I usually hunt for avian meat. They don't often drop very good OQ though. I did find some giants the other night that were dropping some good stuff though.

When i said Pekos i think its actually perleks.

i think perleks and dathomirian retilian fliers are the strongest i can think of....is there anything better to farm?

Kaadu's on Naboo are easy to find and drop good amounts of meat. The OQ would vary though.

is there a good kaadu spot? i just see them occasionally on way to my house north of theed

I always see huge herds of them south/south west of theed actually, about 1500m-2Km out.

You want to support your guild? Then they need to support you.

Find a high-quality avian meat and post on your guild's board, requesting that everyone with scout skills harvest some when they have time. Demonstrate what it can be used for, and I'm sure they'll be very happy to help you stockpile avian meat.

Exactly what MorvenD said: your guild needs to support you.

Because animal resources shift as well, you're best bet is to find out where the avian meat is the highest quality: try killing kaadus and peko pekos on Naboo... Spats on Corelia... Pervaks on Lok.

Once you find the bestquality source, tell your guildsman to go out and start killing lots of them. A few weeks ago Naboo had awesome avian meat but now the quality has gone to crap (at least on Scylla). I can even confirm that Lok avian meat is not good either.

Since SOE aren't doing much in the way of worthwhile end-game or quests... you might as well do it for them and give your guildsman a quest.

yea I will definetly ask for guildsupport......isnt it kinda crappy they put avian meat only on creatures that are not worth hunting for when u have an elite fighting profession...as if we doctors didnt have enough to worry about already

i really feel content with hunting for my resources but having to slay dozens of wimpy creatures is so boring....I would welcome something fairly challenging to fight....could even bring friends along and help them getting XP while I am getting the harvests
