Ok folks i am going to start a rant.

I see a problem for the third time in three days one of my alt characters was in need of healing. Figure that Cornet is the hub of travel that the medics and docs there would heal your wounds, you think. not the case i was sitting in the med center for about 15 minutes continually spaming"I need wounds healed" no Healing. Why you ask All the medics are healing tumblers most likely afk. I am sick and tiered of having to go from planet to planet trying to get my wounds healed and finding that all the medics and docs are onlyu healing damage. funny thing is that healing wounds is beter xp then healing tumblers. Folks you can heal tumblers any place why use the med centers? Oh and fo all yu tumblers out there do some real adventuring for money.

First off, you only need one thread per rant ty. Next, I hear and understand where you're coming from on this. When I'm wounded sometimes I'll hit a med center just to give the grinders some wounds to heal because as you said, healing wounds gives more xp. However it also requires more resources, takes longer, etc. I'm guessing most of the tumble grinders don't have the patience. So next time they ignore you after politley asking for some healsjust slap a quickness on their tumbler then we'll see what happens.

actually I suggest asking even a master doc (well a master doc who's not stood with a line buffing) don't rely on the med center just look for medical tags.

Then again that's a bit harder to find, these days most docs don't wear their tag unless they intend to buff. (Look for surgeons or any medical title anywhere)

Anyhow I run round wih my tag on and will willingly heal anyone if I'm asked in a nice and polite manner, I am a Doc.

(Maybe a bit old school)

I'm afraid you came into the game half a year to a year too late if you expected to find good service in NPC (or even PC for that matter) medical centers now.

well I'm a novice doctor. And I do use tumblers, but when someone needs wounds healed, I stop and help out. So if you see Naz Rizing in a medcenter (likely Coronet) I'll heal wounds.

As long as I've been a Master Doc, I always hit the med centers when I'm running by exactly b/c of this. All too often I see young medics and Doctor hopefuls sitting there healing a tumbler and ignoring the real patients, and I have to come in and clean up their mess and send the customer off with hopefully some redeemed view of the Medical profession. Good thing I enjoy healing people... gives me a chance to show off my fat wound packs... sometimes.

I'm not a fan of tumblers and wish they would go elsewhere and leave the med centre, ground floor at least, for people who want realhealing.

Perhaps a politer request might have got you further.

But just out of curiosity, had one of these medics healed you, would you have tipped them well? Or do you expect them to stop their macro, heal you using valuable resources and time (it takes far longer for thesexp hungrydocs/medics to heal wounds thandamage), while you walk back to your fun without even a thank you as most people seem to do?

on sunrunner I've realized the only ones who tip are the people that were once medics themselves and that 4/5 of the docs will ignore people who need heals

until they make it more efficient to use a med centre than a droid docs will avoid the medcentre.

I know that if my buffs were better in a medcentre thats where i would go......

also I always heal anyone who asks

I got 280k med xp to master and healing tumblers like crazy but if wounds need healing I heal them, just don't expect me to heal nose bleeds I.E 10+ health etc etc it's a waste of my resources and just park yer arse and chill for a few minutes..

Nothing I like better to see someone come in beat up to hell and in some serious need of healing

Also I like a bit more appreciation for the effort I go to to heal, the amount of times that I don't even get a thank you but I remember the name for the next time they ask

This I beleave is the main problem, it like with entertainers no one thinks they should have to pay for the service they recieve.... would you go to a weaponsmith and expect free weapons!?!? No.

Before I started become a Doc I always paid for wounds healing and BF healing... Never expect something for free... unless you're in my guild
