I am not sure how it is for everyone else, but as a Doctor on Bloodfin, I've had enough. My PvE buffs are 2402 for 3.2 hours and i charge 12k. My PvP buffs are health and action 3108 for 3.1 hours and i charge 30k. For the exceptional buffs which cost a bundle to make, I barely reach minimum. Then, all I get is people complaining about the prices. I say, as a member of the Doctor community, we all band together and raise the prices until people learn to appreciate us. It is very hard to make a statement when only a handful of Doctors comply. It has happened before when a bunch of doctors get sick of it and then 3-4 newbs go around and undercut the prices and make the hard working docs look like jerks. Post here with your comments/flames, or what not. But deep down, you know I'm right. Kroga Masi, Fight Club

30k for 3000+ buffs is rediculose.
you should be chargeing 50k+
as for others complaning about your prices, well, there's not alot you can do about it.

If they don't like the proce, then they don't have to pay.
LET THEM gather the resources for a guild Doc to make 3.1k buffs.
Edit: If you want to send them a message...Don't raise the price. Keep the price the same and deny them service if they don't want to pay it. Or, if you want to raise the price, instead of charging them credits, charge then a set amount of 900/900 avian meat or sets of janta blood........

Everyone knows doctors are being taken advantage of, and everyone seems to think that they can change the mentality of the player base. Doctors are seen as a "servicing" profession, so everyone else thinks we are here to help them - and so they act accordingly.

LOL..when I read your title, I was thinking to myself...did you just figure this out? Doctors are like the field workers of swg. Needed for the game to run, but unfortunately looked down upon by others (btw, this isn't a racist comment, just making a comparison I happen to notice)

Hmm... it has been suprising for me to see all these posts on people complaining about doctors. My general experience is much different. I almost always get people that smile, bow andthank you. It is not because I do anything special other than buff people. My prices are also similar to other docs on the server (Chimaera). Maybe servers are different?

I buff the public once or twice a week for 15K and never have been bothered.
I have seen some Docs being rediculed for charging 20K and up.
That is when I break out my droid and start spaming buffs for 50K.

I think there is probably a corolation between the time the doctors who get agro are on and the amount of agro they get. I'm usually on from 9pm - 2amish and get no agro.
Next time a Doc get some agro could you take a screenie and put it up here so we can all have a look see?

As a general rule I don't buff the public only those select few who know me well even ask for buffs (I can be a bit cranky). I can't speak for prices on other servers but on Bloodfin the economy is so over inflated docs should be charging 50k a buff for what they have to pay to buy buff packs or buy resources (heaven forbid they actually give the doctors the necessary skills to gather there own resources) Two things happen when someone **edit** about what I ask for a buff and it's /backhand; /addignore <name>.

Geez, talk about a misleading thread. I thought you were describing the guy in the leather imperial command hat, vest, and Pappi's leather hawtpants....
Oh wait, nevermind I didn't say anything. Especially if Pappi finds outthat thosehawtpants are missing
