i meen i am sitting there hunting and some out of the ordinary people come up to me and say "are you buffing". that really anoyes me, i tell them "i will tell you when i am buffing ". does this ever happen to you???

i dropped doc a long time ago..but this happens to me all the time cuz of the badge..so im going back up doc to sit there with my title and droid out and watch the lines form!

Well I would guess that either you had your Doctor title on, that person previously had a buff from you or that person is psychic.
Whatever is the case, that person needed a buff and he saw you there.
Now he has a decision to make. He can just assume that you are not buffing, in which case he will have to travel farther to find a doctor who is buffing, probably on a cornet and wait on line for zillion hours spending additional credit on shuttle and more importantly waste his valuable playing time traveling and waiting.
OR
He can take a HUGE gamble and actually ask you if you are buffing in which case he save tons of time and probably some credit as well and pray to whatever diety he believes in that you don't yell his puny head off for having a nerve to ask someone as busy as you.
So he took a game and he obviously lost. And he probably have learned his lesson (whatever that may be)
Oh well he probably moved on with his life.

Badge and Reputation... you might buff hundreds of players and not remember them, but there are only so many doctors... they will remember you.

#1 you could have your master doc title up
#2 you could have that thing checked that says "make my character searchable"

Or you could just say "no"
Is it really that big of a shock that people ask you for a service when the find out you can provide it?

I don't have a problem with people asking me if I'm buffing. If they ask nicley, I take them somewhere quiet and buff them, if I'm not to busy. If they just say something like "buff ?" or "You buffing ?" I just ignore them.

Damn is this ever true. When I used to get bored I'd go to cornet and buff people for the hell of it so I would be bored to tears. From maybe the 2-3 times I've done that I have at least 30 people who will message me everyday asking if they can get a buff.

I always keep my genetisist title up so people won't pester me for buffs.. that damn surgical droid that tags along doesn't help tho

I like my "Battlemaster" title I got from my time as a swordsman to change it (and lose it) to Master Doc.
So I dont get many random buffage requests...but when I do it costs them 30K to get me to stop what I am doing to buff them.
