Thread: New Doctor
Then go wound treatment speed and the crafting will either a)come by itself or b) you'll end up grinding it
I have no idea what to grind so I can't help you there sorry
Make some meds and get healing! ![]()
Oh, and have fun while you're at it - there'snothing like hunting with a group of psychopaths to keep you sane and get you away from the med crafting study.
Here are my tips for any new Doctor:
#1: Go out with mission groups for the healing experience. Don't even shoulder that rifle - just heal damage during combat and heal wounds in the down time. You'll get money from the missions and healing exp like crazy. Use your mouse or keyboard combos to select group members and use the /follow and /stopfollow commands (hot key them)to move around the battle field right to the target that needs you most.
#2: Work up some crafting macros to help with your med crafting study. You can't AFK craft (who would want to?) but it sure can make life easier.
#3: Invest in high quality crafting gear and resources. If you plan to stick with the profession you'll need these to make the best enhances possible. Once you're a Master Doctor buffing people will most likely be your bread and butter. On the way up your money will most likely come from those hunting parties I was talking about... ![]()
Enjoy!

Hey guys i got novice doctor on blood fin, can someone give me tips? also i was wondering if i can trade 100k credits from eclipse to bloodfin(i give you 100k on eclpise and you give me 100k on bloodfin)
I can't help you with the credits, but advice is easy. The best way to get medical xps is to get into hunting groups. Don't attack the targets, just run around and keep everyone healed. If someone gets incapped, then /drag him to safety to prevent deathblows. If everyone is doing good, then go ahead and get in a few hits of your own. Climb up the wound treatment tree first, at level 4 you get to rez, and that will make you more valuable in large hunt groups. Second climb the Med Knowledge tree so you can use more powerful meds, including buffs. Try to craft all your own supplies as the crafting "grind" won't seem so bad.
Important Milestones:
- Wound Treatment 2 /healEnhance:This will allow you to use Enhance kits. Remember that even Enhance A packs are better than nothing. Why use a tank if you're running Durni missions?
- Wound Treatment 4 /revivePlayer: This will let you use Rez kits, but these are only crafted at Doctor Med Crafting 4. You may have to buy these at first until you can make them yourself.
- Doctors Med Knowledge 4: This level gives you a Med Use of 90 and able to use Enhance D packs. Assuming that a Master Doctor experiments the Med Use down a little. These are the most powerful buffs in the game.
- Wound Treatment Speed 2 /curePoison: Poison has become more common in the game and you will need this skill to cure it.
- Wound Treatment Speed 4 /cureDisease: Disease is much like Poison except instead of damage, Disease causes wounds as long as it's going.

Either do what travin suggested or get someone to tumble. Then buy or make enhance A's and buff enterainers for free. That is how I made master.
hey is trying to play the game not grind the profession.
If you are playing the game then follow travins advice bro.
Couple things I forgot to add. Try to be a Doctor and not just a Buff-O-Matic, carry cures for everything you can (they will come in handy). I have been tipped 20K for a disease cure and 40K for a rez. Also try to use the highest level packs that you can. Higher level packs are stronger (more xps) and have more charges (last longer). Plus if you have a wait of 15-20 seconds between heals, it adds up if you have to use 2 charges on a stat to completly heal it. And remember Macros are your friends. I have one macro to cure most states, this allows me to use one hotkey to cure several problems. I can't remember some the the exact commands, but you'll get the idea.
- /firstaid;
- /cureDisease;
- /curePoison;
- /cureState dizzy;
- /cureState intimidate;
- /cureState blind;
- /cureState stuned;

Top stuff Travin!
Im slowly getting up the Doc tree and I know itll take a week or more to get to master but its good to get more tips.
OK, Here's more for just basic survival. Doctors live and die by your resources. If you can spend the skill points take up Novice Artisan and Novice Scout (or make friends with people with it) so you can collect most of your own supplies. Novice Artisan is a bit more important as there are Master Rangers that supply doctors with herbivore and avian meat. It's very difficult to find an Artisan to survey or collect Medical Supplies (Most Artisan's may not know what to look for). Network with other Doctors to trade information about good resources. When an outstanding or rare resource shows up (Dolovite Iron, Liquid Petro 4, etc...) hoard it like it's going out of style. You should be able to collect enough to last until the next good spawn. If there are no good resources on your server, mine ore for Architects. Ore will always sell, and can drop a few more credits in your account.
