Ok.. I am a new doctor and was heading over to Fort Tusken with a buddy. All of a sudden everyone was asking for rez's. This of course costs me money..

What do you guys charge or do when people ask this?

My buddy told me to charge $1k. Can people tip while dead? Or do you just have to trust em?

charge whatever you feel is right. Back when I first got the ability, I'd charge folks 3K. I hear others charge much, much more then that nowadays.

10k, and I have thier friend tip me before I rezz them. Simply because after I say 10k, there is a 99% chance they will NOT tip me after I rezz them. You're in a group at fort tuskan, tell your group to pitch in to get you back up, otherwise pay for the decay in the long run.

It will probbably drop to 3-5k after the no decay patch comes around though.

Sometimes I charge other times I don't. I guess it just depends on what we are doing and how important it is to the person and how busy I am. If it's the same person asking for rezzes over and over again yes I am gonna start charging them. They need to either pay for my services if they are gonna abuse them or they need to learn how to be more careful. I don't go to fort tusken to sit there rez everyone, I dont' get exp anymore. I do it becuase I enjoy killing tuskens. If I have to rez people non-stop then I don't get to do what I went there for, so I might as well make some money doing it. When I do charge I charge them 10k per rez. I charge that much for two reasons. First off they need some incentive to play smarter and not die, a 10k hit usually helps them be more careful in the future. Secondly by my rezzing them they don't decay and they can continue to gain exp while there instead of spending half their time running back and forth from the Clone center.

The non decay is only for pvp, isn't it?

I rez for free since I make my money buffing and selling stims to regular customers. But if you want to rez after the next publish (when decay is removed from insured items), I'd charge 1-2k.

DeathHawk - Here for forums. I'll consider coming back when they revamp Doctors.

Same here ... I've never charged for a ress. Not sure I'd get invited to many hunts if I started charging to ress.

The cost for making a res pack, at least when you're a crafting doc with your own factory, is neglible. The only reason to use/waste quality resources on a pack is to increase the amount of wounds a res pack cures as part of the ressing process (& the ressing part is the essential thing). When I sell ress packs, I sell them at 500 creds - a rough estimate of the time I've taken when making them, more than the cost of the resources. With about 20 shots per pack, that's 25 credits a shot (says my calculator ).

I had someone tip me 10k once - tipped it straight back.

on a side note healng players in the med center, sometimes im waiting for some friends to turn up and someone comes in with huge damage and they ask me to heal them, what do people charge for this.. i usually tell them i dont need the xp but someone will do if they wait afew mins they will get healed.. again they never offer to give me anything for healing them up and on the odd time i have healed them they just run off with a 'thanks mate' :/

0 credits.

Doesn't cost much to make really...if your buying them they are only like 2 to 3k on the bazzar and if your making them it doesn't take many resources either.
