Doctors are usefull and if anyone test them they will know. Just wanted to say that because of all the Docs useless post I see. I am keeping my doc instead of making a second BH.

yes Docs are VERY needed! Although at first glance it seems they are not....but once you get going in the world it is very obvious the ramifications of Not have doctors.

Wounds everywhere

PvP everyone is on fire and poisoned.

The buffs are nice and useful...enough that people still tip for them.

Yes doc is somethingthat is needed.

Amen! And I don't have to carry around 50 freakin crates of different meds. I love it! Just need to get use to the new system. So far so good. At least they converted my buffs into enhancers and not stims. Thank you devs for that. I for one am excited about the CU, and it has already brought our guild closer together.

No they are not, anything you really need you can do at Novice Doc, MCM, and Medic

Wounds everywhere

Who cares, really? no one has ever paid me to heal wounds, and I doubt anyone ever will. Why should I care about anyone else in this system? Besides, sit in a med center afk for a bit...you are ok.

PvP everyone is on fire and poisoned.

I don't PvP, 80%+ people don't, making this a useless arguement, i don't want to be a PvP class

The buffs are nice and useful...enough that people still tip for them.

Uh huh, Medics can do that too

Yes doc is somethingthat is needed.

Nope, not really, not at all

And before you say it, CM can Rez too, so that point is moot

Wow. I completely disagree with you on all but one of your points, and even this one I'm on the fence:

No one is saying a doc will have to PvP. What you will have to do is support PvP players, though, to get anywhere.

I've never truly faulted the spirit of the changes, I know the game needed to improve, however I think they way they're handling the changes is pi$$ poor...

Depends, as you know I went to the Player Breakfast in Indy, and the changes really make sense after actually hearing about why they did what they did. Good things will come out of it, just wait and see.

hahaha @ Indy Breakfast comment

tell me something useful.. like what an "Advanced Stick It Up Your Arse With Sparklies" pack is

how anyone can heal anything without medicine is beyond me... this take on EQ Priests is what chaps my a$$...

now pardon me so i can gorespect with my Wizard template focusing on AOE nukes

Too bad they didnt share that much needed info with the rest of us paying customers... how thoughtful. I like being a DR and being able to heal people but when you cant even figure out what the heck you're doing.. pushing this and jabbing at that and spraying someone with this and dont forget to stick a magic fork in them first and turn an then try to figure out all the sprays, and what?... if we have sprays why do we need stims, and how do we get the 30% buff and how do we know how much we buffed other than a little blurring pic under our ham... yeah real nice to share this info... i've looked on the boards and i can't findS**T about how and what these stoopid things are... dont get me started on TKA.... i hate you SOE.

I agree that sentiment - some more information and vision sharing would have smoothed things over.

I for one don't mind the change in a doctor's role. I have always been a fighting doc, and have always enjoyed that role, so for me that adaptation is a painless one.

It does annoy me that healing and buffing are now magical abilities not dependent on the use of pharmaceuticals.

Unfortunately I still feel that the new combat system makes the game less fun rather than more fun, and I have yet to be excited while playing it. Even PvP which I used to find thrilling, is now tedious at best (and in my mind, terribly unbalanced). I have now spent more than 60 hours playing the new system between test and live, and I will play many more, trying to give the new system a chance to become fun and exciting, elements which I found to be readily available in the old system.

I am not about to scream "OMG S0E j00 5ux0rz!!!1!!1!11!!!!" but I do feel like the game experience just got "pwnz0red". That said, I continue to give the game a chance.

How can you support them without PvPing? By that statement we will have to PvP. Look at the new overt rules...can't buff overtsunless you are overt, can't heal or rez unless you are overt...hence if we are to support PvPers, we have to PvP.

So for the rest of us - who are master doctors - who've been doctors for almost 2 years - ya think the devs might have clued us in as to the intent of these changes BEFORE it went live? I'm not a PvPer - only time I've dueled anyone in the past 2 years is becuase they asked me to kill them to rebuff them - I don't do combat and I don't want to do combat - so you think for those of us who enjoy roleplaying a doctor, the good things will still come out of this? And how long should we wait? Long enough to keep paying for beta testing the cu? This one is FUBAR and everyone knows it.

I agree with the rest it would have been nice to have a better explanation of the changes instead "Were changing Doc so get used to it" , i will ,as im not leaving ,it still seems a better game than most even though it has gone the way of other game in looks and gameplay it is still Starwars for now

plus i live in England and so far all Player Breakfast have been no where near me (couple planed in England soon i think but a bit late for the cu chat)

No one is forcing you to PVP, so I don't know where you get that from. The point of the CU is to balance out the game and make it fun. I asked Tiggs point blank before the breakfastwhen the CU is release how compleate will it be...and her response was simple; it would be released in an unfinished form because the people on live do a far better job at relaying info then those of the TC just because there are more people. (Not exact words, but close enough)

Obviously you fail to realize that, or you seem to think the CU is some type of personal attack on you and "your" professions. The CU is about the game, not about Doctor, or whatever professions we doctors play as. Buffs were ruining this game as much as armor and weapons where....and honestly if someone thinks differently they need to open their eyes.

A lot of people are taking the CU way to personal, and if you really don't like it, then no one is forcing you to stay either.
