I am using GREAT resources but yet I am noticing that my buff range is really high or really low.. Any idea's what I can do to improve this overall? I am using a 110 medical droid.. Any suggestions cause its like I am using A Buffs half the time

Yeah, I get the same thing, though my range is not as extreme. My lows are typically 790~ and my highs with regular D packs are like 2,200~.

No idea what causes such a range. I had a theory battle fatigue effected the results, but after testing that out I don't think it does.

You can check out the FAQ and I have written up a question that addresses this. Perhaps you'll find some useful information there.

Because when you think of Doctors, first thing that pop into your head is wild and carefree soul which love to gamble with things.

Everytime some new fresh off the medical school doctor propose new and possibly dangerous procedure, first thing medical community say is

"Sure! why not! lets give it a shot! heck it's only life and death"

Thats why everytime you enter hospital first thing they do is give you battery of tests. Sure they wanna check your current medical condition, but what you don't know is there is ALWAYS running bet on your medical test results.

Thats why when Dev implemented Doctor profession, they added "variation" into everything. ESPECIALLY buffs which every player tank will eventually depend their life on once all this combat change are made.

Cause one thing we know about doctors are that Doctors HATE consistancy. They want something new and unexpected result every time they use medicine.

Why do you think you can heal wound in player city hotel right next to gambling machine? When you hear "Ka-ching!" it's either doctor who won big on slot machine or Doctor who just found out you need very expensive medical procedure.

It's the patient's BF that matters. There's an open bug that Zarlor has told the devs about that I don't think has been fixed yet around this. Healing effectiveness starts decreasing around 200 BF on the patient, but you won't get a message stating that until the patient has like 300 BF. So you might be falling into that category.

My buffs range from 1100-3400 these days, but I make sure patients don't have BF before applying buffs. I also try to get out of range of other droids that are out in case the med effectiveness overlap bug is still around...

That's what I thought but I tried buffing three people one with no battle fatigue, one with about ~250, and another with +500 and the buffs still had the same wild swings and the guy with the 250 BF actually got better rolls than either of the others. It does seem truly random.

Well, I don't see anywhere above that you were using these buffs on yourself. Notice any pattern to the extremely low buffs? Do you get a low set all in a row? Because getting 300 lvl buffs with 800+ base heal packs shouldn't happen unless you're buffing in a camp with a droid with no power, or someone else's really bad droid is impacting your buffs. In that case, you'd see that all of the buffs for that round would be low, because it's using the camps/droids measly heal rating, whatever it is.

Mygeneral impressionwas that the buffs range from 1x base heal up to about 3.5x base heal at 100 wound treatment, and like 1.5x to 4x at 125 wound treatment.

I notice that when i use a med center, player building i get better results than if I was using a med droid. However, I am wondering if multiple med droids in an area doesn't affect you own healing capabilities. IE. the other day out at the imperial outpost on dantooine, when i had my med droid out and was the only one buffing I was getting decent enhnaces. But when another doc dropped his droid next to me my averages fell 1000 a stat to 300. I moved into the med center and the average moved up to 1200 without my droid, and averaged about 900 with my droid.Could this be a similarproblem or am I just getting bad results?

I have yet to figure it out, but I think it's just a HUGE random thing...

mine are anywhere from 800-2700 and tried just about everything to figure it out.

one theory I have about the driod is make sure he's charged up right before you do buffs. If he goes low power while he's out, he may hurt th process *shrug*
