Well, that innocent Doc is me. While on Dathomir, I noticed a Wookiee laying on the ground. I walked over to him, saw that he was completely wounded, and healed him. I thought, yay, some experience! He didn't get up, so I figured he had mind damage. All of the sudden this dreaded little message comes up on my screen:

"Botryk has poisoned you"

I turn around and there is a Combat Medic, and his name is in red. Now I wished I had never joined the Rebellion. I attacked him, trying to hit with my rifle, ((I'm just a Novice Rifleman, so I didn't even nick him)). Eventually my mind goes, and I get incapacitated. All this while I was waiting for a shuttle. During all this, he sent me a tell:

Botryk tells you, "That was a big no no"

You reply, "Dude, I didn't know!"

Botryk tell you, "That was a big no no. He attacked me while AFK."

Well, that's understandable. I don't think it's a good reason to give someone wounds in every pool, but, hey, if you don't want to spend a little extra money on Anger Management classes, then to each his own. BUT DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON THE DOCTOR!

As soon as I manage to get up, he sends me another tell.

"I'll leave you alone if you just walk away."

"That's great man, I just want to get on my freaking shuttle!"

Well, I got to Tyrena, and held a little Rebellion rally. Everyone felt bad for me, and couldn't believe how someone could do such a thing. Someone found him, and I don't know what happened from then. Maybe they /dueled and Botryk died. I hope he did.

Anyway, the moral of the story is...if you see someone lying on the ground fully wounded, don't heal him. You just don't know if you'll find a Combat Medic hidden in the shadows.

Now son, why didn't you just cure your own poison/disease? I thought we Doctors could do that...

Yeah, lol, that would have been nice, but I only have the first box in that tree, so I can't yet =(.

most civilized people/nations/groups respect the rights of non combatants. that particular player just illustrated that there are mean and petty sentients all over the galaxy.

master tk, master doc.. sound like a great combo. i'll go for that for now.

Ohhhh I forgot. Lets have the Doctor heal our enemy, so he can get up and blow my head off. Great idea. Please use that tactic whenever you get into a fight.

Dont you shoot that Imperial Doctor now trying to keep the guy your fighting alive...thats just wrong....

While harsh in delivery, Gamer has a point... it's the GCW for a reason... if you aid an overt, you have to expect to take some hits for it... it's something I accept willingly, makes my life a little more interesting every once in awhile.

Also, the fact that he let you walk away without a DB shows that perhaps he did give consideration to the fact that you are just a doc trying to help out... personally I would have capped and killed the doctor b/c I would expect nothing less from them.

I for one Don't PVP.. it's to anoying for me and if I'm grouped with people I sure as HE** will heal them cause it keeps everyone in the group alive. there are a few ocassions when people like YOU if we are doing factional missions get a hard on and want to kill everyone.... I'm just saying if attacked I will defend myself...

its like when your healing in the cantina or med center tho (more so when working your way up the doc tree) you sat there minding your own business someone comes in with alot of wound u dont realise they have a TEF and bang you get 1, the next thing u know 12 imps (in my case) or rebs come charging in and kill u before u even stand up, then send you tells about how they and i quote a tell i once had***we r*ped your sorry rebel ass ahahah u f**king suck dude!***

when i asked how i sucked and did it really take 7 or 8 imps using TEF gruop and 1 at st to come into the AH cantina and kill 2 medics when we did not want to fight just heal, he had no resopnce just more smack talk till i /addignored him, i know exactly where the origonal poster is comming from.

I can relate also, although im not a doctor i have been overt without knowing and had a rebel WAITING at max radar range watching for when docs get TEFs and then ran in and killed the doctor and myself (as i didnt know i was overt since when you log out it decides you are still overt even after an hour.... talked to faction recruited about 40 minutes before i logged out)

In reference to the "we r*ped your sorry rebel... etc." I think that kind of stuff is completely uncalled for. People are playing this game to have fun, not to be penises about things. I can't stand people like that and I think they should all get booted and banned from playing. Talking trash is OK, but it gets out of hand too easily.

What the heck is your problem, I was not even talking to you friend.

lol, people like me lol, I'll tell you the truth. I kill *anything* with a TEF. Dont care what the Profession. (Tho once i did spare this poor newbie novice artisan) TEF means to me they did something to harm my side by getting that TEF, how and why I dont care. Dancer, Medic, Sponge Bob...dont care. If you do NOT want to risk getting killed in PvP, NO NOT join a Side. You hurt my side by joining the Rebels just for kicks, so if ya get a TEF slaping a Stromtrooper, buffing an overy Rebel, or who knows. I will shoot to kill and hope you rethink your path and leave the Rebel side. But thats just me.

I had no clue the guy was even a Rebel. I thought they were going to work together to get xp, lol. I see a guy laying incapacitated on the ground, I heal him. It's my job. But you don't have to give me a mind poison for an honest mistake. Lol..I never PvP, so during it I kept wanted to /peace or /endduel to make it all stop.
