Thread: Watching your buffs

We all know how annoying it is when you lose track of what buff you did last, and rebuff a stat, thus throwing off your packs by 1 maybe 2.

I usually watch the Combat tab to see what I just buffed, but being that it's Coronet, people are always fighting and it is hard to keep track.

I was wondering if there is anyway you might be able to have a Medical Tab or Buff Tab or what ever you want to call it. Something to the nature of me being able to watch my heals/buffs and that's all.

I do not and will not use macro's because I believe that they are cheating/ignorant, so do not post about them.

Thanks for all your help guys.

I haven't been a doc for long and I just press the heal enhance button on my hotbar to buff. Once the person I'm buffing has all 6 stats enhanced, if I press heal enhance again then it just says 'this person has no attributes that you can enhance'? So my question is this: how do you rebuff a stat that you have just buffed, as from my short experience the game doesn't allow this? Is there a different way to buff people that causes this to happen or something? And if there is then what are the advantages of doing this over using the 'heal enhance' button?

'Scuse the noob questions lol

Many thanks

I use a buffing Macro do I do not have to keep track at all. Below is what I use, Just make sure you have all your 6 buff packs in your main inventory ( I also place them on my F-keys so I know how many I have left)

She said she won't use macros.

I like the /healenhance hotkey idea... I always either use a macro or pop the packs on my hotbar.

If you put the packs on your hotbar, you can keep track of which ones you are using by seeing which ones you have less of.

Putting the packs on the toolbar works well if you don't want to macro it. Having all your packs at the same use count works wonders too because you can always keep track which stat to hit next.

I just finished grinding doc myself.

I just put my buff packs on my hotbar.

It's super easy to see what pack you are buffing next.

And you don't need to run a macro.

Just my 2 cents.

After making the system message only tab, then go to the options page and set the chat color for the attribute names to a different color.. so they show up even better

I also have "tips you" and my name highlighted this way.

Is it really that difficult to wrap your mind around a system that the Devs installed so you only have to push one button and let the computer hit the patient with every enhansement efficiently without worry of missing a stat?

/groupsay ***START ***

/ui action toolbarSlot00;

/groupsay HEALTH;

/pause 16;

/ui action toolbarSlot01;

/groupsat STRENGTH;

/pause 16;

/ui action toolbarSlot02;

/groupsat CONSTITUTION;

/pause 16;

/ui action toolbarSlot03;

/groupsat ACTION;

/pause 16;

/ui action toolbarSlot04;

/groupsat QUICKNESS;

/pause 16;

/ui action toolbarSlot05;

/groupsat STAMINA;

/pause 16;

/groupsay *** FINISH ***

The finish is so I know when i can start buffing again

Yes, it is that difficult. I don't see it so much hard to make and use a macro, but there is no need for them to be in the game. Look at what some people do with macros, you can virtually master every single proffession without one ounce of human effort besides putting in the coding. I've seen people use hunting / healing / dancing / CRAFTING! It's dumbfounding how lazy people are. I even stated to everyone, do not put in your macros because I am not interested in them, although I thank the ones of you that did, there is no reason to try and tell me off about how macros are "fair". This is the only MMORPG game that I've seen that let's you use macros, in EQ they would ban you for something like this! The Devs may have installed the macro system all in thoughts of good means, but macro's should only be used up to a point. A friend of mine when I played on the Tarquinas server masterd Commando, and Taras Kasi by only touching his computer to move his toon, because his macros did all the work for him. You may think macro's are fine, because the Devs put them in. I don't, it's just two different opinions.
