Nobody!

Sorry, but you know its true. DOC is nothing but a finishing piece to a template and thats it.

Do you have Doc in your template?

Edit:
Never mind, just read your other post. Its not a good idea to come to a profession forum and tell the people there they are useless.

But it's pretty entertaining. Welcome.

Actually... now they don't need those anymore, since exp loss on cloning has been removed and PvE death penalties are gone.

And it's possible for specific Jedi templates to Rezz themselves.

Jedi should heal better than doctors, so I don't see a problem here. Jedi healing doesn't make doctors obselete at all. Docs get all kinds of other cool toys for the group.

Rez

On top of that you get buffs, innoculations (need to be adjusted, I know), battle armor certs, ranged def, melee def, drag player, area effect poison/disease cures... Those are all thingsForce Healingdoesn't get and they're all VERY useful to both the doctor and a group.

Nice try - read your last 50 posts and read my last 50 posts. I just dont give advice to people flaming other people left and right.
I also would appreciate it if you finally stopped trolling my posts. It gets old.

Actually Itend to agree with the original poster. My doctor / CMI considered a heal machine. Sure I couldn't kill anything before the CU but in a group I was essential to success when doing DWB etc. Ofcourse it is hard to compare Doc with jedi and I don't think we will be useless when they have had some stufffixed.

Now when I heal something I instantly get attacked by everything in the room and no matter how much tkm, swordman, jedi taunt they can't pull it of me. I'm dead in 10s usually, who rezes the doctor?

With a jedi in the group they usually survive. The jedi (Master Defender, Two Branches Healer, Two Branches LS), easily avoid taking damage and heal the rest. If the doctor should heal him, the doctor would be dead.

I currently am not playing my doctor that much because of this, the main issue is the threat. I assume this will be fixed but it's really frustrating that as a Doctor I am good for two things.

a) Tanking by healing yourself.

b) Rezing those who died because you know if you had healed them previously you would have died.

Why, ohh why should jedi heal better then docs? They use the force to heal, we use bacta, there's a big difference there. We are trained in the medical arts, they are trained in the wielding of the force.
I must admit that my knowledge of the SW universe is limited to the movies, but If someone could find a reference in EU to someone using the force to heal someone else, I will bow to that. But I find that very unlikely, since it would basicly be the same as using the force to veld to pieces of metal together.

Healing themself, possebly. Healing others, unlikely.

Doctor can Revive players = And so Can Combat Medic

Doctor can heal wounds = And so can Jedi Healers

Doctor can heal damage = And so can Combat Medic/Jedi Healers

Doctor can buff people = And so can foods

Basically doctorsare pretty much out ofbussiness. Other professions can do the same things doctors can do.There are a lot more Combat Medics and even more Jedi with Force Healing abilites than Doctors so really there is little need for doctors. But if the devs remove jedi healers from healing people and only making doctors to revive players, I think the Doctor Profession can be saved!
