Hi, newbie question: is there any way to increase inventory space? Like a backpack or something.....

You answered your own question

I've got a backpack (holds 50) and a satchel (holds 20 I think). My backpack looks like a rocket pack though

Or you could put stuff in the safety deposit of a bank.

Oh, backpack I bought off bazaar, satchel I looted off a theif - and I believe you can get a small backpack with 1500 faction points (or at least you can with Rebels)

Inventory (obvious)

Backpacks (mentioned)

Banks - If you join a bank on a planet, for that planet only, you can access your 'safety deposit box' - this will hold 100 items

Houses - depending on house type, usually 150 or 250 items

Factories can also hold 100 items in their ingredient hoppers. Private crafting stations can hold 100 items in their input hoppers as well, but that may count against the limit of the house that they are in. I haven't tested that.

Hey hey all -

If you are really desparate for space like i was (Master SMuggler who carried lots o slicing and drug supplies), you can augment your inventory with the typical backpack and droids. If you dont care about taking up your 5 droid slots with crap droids than this will do it. Buy 5 MSE droids with 10 storage each!

Thats 50 extra storage - Comes in handy when that last person walks up and wants 5 crates o Tat sunburn!

I did not know about the satchel as well! Will have to get one

I'm pretty suresatchels don't increase your inventory they only organize it. Anything you place in a satchel counts against your inventory cap(of whatever container the satchel is in). Though it may not beone to one.

I wear a lightweight military pack that takes up a bandolier slot and lets me carry 50 items, with wound packs, enhancement packs, state packs, stimpacks, fire blankets, disease/poison packs, food, armour, BE Clothes, no more than 2 weapons and maybe 2 or 3 stacks of resources, I still only have about 15 inventory slots free for loot (which disappears pretty bloody quickly somewhere like the Geo caves I can tell you).

Is anyone else cheesed off at the sheer amount of crap Doctors have to lug around to do their jobs in addition to all the regular adventuring stuff that everyone else is concerned with ? Why can't we have wound packs that heal a small amount of ALL Health and Action stats ? Multi-state cure packs, combined disease and poison packs ?

Is there any reason why this crap has to all be separate items instead of letting masters craft combo packs ?

I am a MD and don't seem to have much problem, with my inventory. I as well carry 9 piece armor food and meds. Here is my advice to you. Don't carry any resouces to craft with. If your pressed for inventory, craft everything you need for a week in advance. I know this is hard to determine but my point is to be able to leave the house prepared. On this note make sure everything is either in crates or just carry on pack of each. If you run out of state heal packs, oh well. There are worse things to be concerned with. Stims and Wound packs are the big things, and possibly a set of buff packs. You don't need to carry everything with you when you hunt, just the essentials. Also remember that you can store 100 items in the safety deposit box at your bank. This is a great place to keep your buffs and extra meds instead of having to go all the way to your house/shop.

It just sounds like you are a pack rat type, and a little overly prepared for things. I have the same problem. I have to fight to stop myself from carrying every med I have on me at all times.

Actually it's even worse when you are CM as well lol. I carry about the same things, sometimes in single packs and crates for the ones I use the most (6 CM items, buff packsand cures for doc stuff), plus food in single pack and crate as well(blue milk, brandy, canapes, bivoli), plus muon,3 weapons, wound packs, my best poisons/diseases just in case... Basically when I have to put 20 items at once to put in my factory I usually have to drop stuff in a house first to make room. My rule #1 though is to never carry resources nor crafting tools, or it would be awful.

Why dont you just have 2 droids with 110med/dual storage modules and you will have plenty of room for any loot you can possibly find!!

Yup, thats the way to do it.. 5 droids with 10 item storage each.. there is another 50 for ya..

Name the droids something to help you organize.. thats where the buff pack crates and the wound pack crates go since you need your droid out anyway
