and when you have to pay 200-550 cpu for avian (you can see my link on the avian thread as i don't feel like finding it again) .... I'm tempted to cash out on all my resrouces while i can , sell all my doc resources and close the shop ....

it's sickening.

Or am I over-reacting?

Ok, now I'll agree that this is insane... Wheat is never worth that much. Never ever.

Dolovite can be, in certain circumstances, but the sheer volume of wheat consumed making enhance packs makes that price a bit over the top. Although, if my choices were making 16 charge BECs with cheap stuff and paying 80+ cpu to hit 23 or 24 charges, I'd probably spend the money... But, given that there's always wheat, I really doubt the difference is that big.

Avian and Gas are in a different category than subcomponent resources, and the prices of the former should really have nothing to do with the prices of the latter...

Just gave up doc for TKM, but I was getting some top buffs (31 x 2500 for 3 hrs 15) for 235k. So cost price per buff was about 7200, add bivoli, selling for 12,000 making a profit of about 4k per customer....not huge money...

key point being the fact that he bought one set of buffs for 235k .... people said i was expensive @ power x charges x duration / 10k ....

I know that store who sells that buff-set and its really expensive. Ive seen far more appealing prices like 10k-25k per buffpack.

I'd rather get a friend to find a spot for me and get it myself. I refuse to ever pay more than 1million credits for anything.

But then again I play this game to interact, I don't really make money. 6k for buffs, and I don't advertise buffing.

12k is lowend ... 20k is high ... though all i've never seen for it go over 15k, rumors have it that some go for 20k so i'm taking their word for it ...

And here I was thinking I'm used to pay too much for stuff in good ol' Bloodfin.

Well ... I did once pay 400 cpu for nuna meat, but going over 50 cpu for any other resource other than meat just seems wrong. I mean, how the heck do they manage to make a profit out of their meds? Charge 50k a pack?

and about 2 months ago we had an auction for dom oats that went for 65 cpu ....

admittedly it was good but the only reason i hung in the auction that long was i had schematics using the resources from patch day from 7 ... the other guy .... *sigh* ... all i can say is he just has too much money ...

Another good reason why I harvest everything myself. Well, except the Avian meat. Recently had to give up scout but I still have a nice 10K stack of decent avian from when I still had my scouting skills.

Ouch. Not me, nope nada, to high.(besides just won an auction for 50k of Dolovite Iron for 4 cpu)

I made the mistake of paying 80cpu for dolovite recently. Total waste. When I craft, I target a power of 873. This is what it takes for a master doc to hit for 2400. With this killer reactive gas that spawned recently and good avian, I can use dolovite and class 4 with stats in the 500's or 600's and still hit my target.
