Wound Cs have always needed seeds. Then again some really common stuff falls under the category of seeds, heck huge portion of the organics do, really. What did you think they used?

No. Wounds Cs have always used seeds since Beta. But Seeds is a huge category that includes things like friut, berries, flowers. Fully half of all organics, I believe, possibly more. Just look on your flora survey tool, it's one of the big categories and maybe that's why you thought it was any organic.

[edit: changed "crafting tool" to what I meant to say, "survey tool"]

You said look on my crafting tool. What do you mean by that... How will it tell me what I can use?

IIRC, it has indeed always been seeds. If you open your flora surveying tool it will list 'seeds' as a main category with a whole slew of different types below it.

So are Dantooine berries considered Seeds?

He means open the survey tool... your flora survey tool lists things by category. Seeds is a major category that includes all the berries, fruits, tubers, fungi (not sure why those) etc...

And yes, they have always been seeds.

hmm... How exactly is a doctor who doesn't have survey supposed to know what a seed is?

Smugglers at least, for their crafting they can excuse that they would have been able to survey if they had kept their original requirement of the buisness tree from artisan. Doctors... well... this doesn't make sense to me, and I'd like to use it as an argument for either simplifying doctor schematic requirements, or allowing some form of resource identification and retreival in the medic/doctor/cm trees.

An example of organic seeds: Corellian vegetable greens.

If you're going to craft , and craft well , you need to know your resources.
I have about 80 printouts spread all over my desk when i'm gathering / surveying / crafting.

but in regards to your idea , there's no need to change the schematic or include surveying for doctors , the best solution is to show the 'resource tree' in examning the resource.

They have always needed seeds. You probably just used berries before, and didn't notice that it HAD to be a seed.

If you're not an artisan, I know the following are seeds off the top of my head: fruit, flowers, greens, tubers, berries, and fungi. And possibly beans.

This coming from one of the first MD's on bria? heh.....
