Thread: Enhancement Buffs

Any Doctors who have used Enhancement buffs out here? I have a question for you all! How long does each enhancement buff last for each level of Enhancement (A,B,C,D,E). I know B is bugged but are all the other Enhancement buff also bugged? Last question is what are the base stats of each level of enhancement?

I thought I had a good idea on this, but what I saw last night kind of threw me for a loop. So I'll toss this out there and you can take from it what you will. Might be some issues here to note to Zarlor.


Up until last night I thought the duration of the enhance packs was based off of the charges. The enhance Ds I make, I always go for max effectiveness, and then go for charges with what's left. Take quickness for example (the ones I go through the most), It starts with about 7 charges and lasts about 1800. Typically I have to use 7 of my experimentation points to max out it's effectiveness which is usually over 700. With the last 3 points I put into charges and after those 3 points I see the duration jump up to about 4500. Well last night I had an amazing success on the experimentation part of effectiveness, so I had an extra point for charges and thought I'd get a longer duration. After the first 2 points (I always do 2 at a time) I got the 4500 duration, but it didn't go up at all with the last 2 points.


So to answer your question, it really depends on the resources and how much experimentation you do. The 4500 seems to last anywhere from 30-45 minutes. I never really timed it. Oh, and there isn't any enhance pack E.

It seems power and duration are tied together. The more success I have at effectiveness the more higher the buff and the longer. I think I hit 6700 duration last night. I can't WAIT till advanced components actually WORK in these (BC's, CRDM's).


I put everything I can into effectiveness then go for charges after I max that. The end products can hit for (so far) max of 2047 (health enhance, I almost fell out of my chair) and as low as 560. I really wish you could kill ones like that and redo them. With the timer reset on death I guess you can soon if you really want to.

That's some nice duration. Best buff I had was about 2200 action, but as we all know it's easier to make them then the rest

When you guys are talking about duration (4500, 6700) are those in seconds or what??


If so, thats 75 mins!!! And for the 6700, thats 112 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep thats seconds. Doctor buffs last a long time IF you don't cross any server boundaries or die right now. They're bugged but with the up coming publish next weekthey are supposed to be fixed.

Which reminds me that it should be noted that Holo even mentioned that time works a little funny in the game, causeing problems such as not seeing the Usage XP from an item you may have crafter for an hour and other oddities. That may also affect the actual duration of a buff. I think that your heal "bonus" (such as having a droid out and only healing for 75%, or whatever you module is, of what you could heal for) and the standard variability of the heals also affect the duration. I take the duration to be much the same as a Base Heal value in that it is probably variable, but I see the duration as more of a Maximum, while Base Heal (or Enhancement, in this case) is more like the minimum.

Yeah, that logging out bug is annoying. It's happened to me many times this last week.


You will log out with buffs, but if you come back before they would normally dissapear, you cannot rebuff because the timer hasn't reset. I just explain to someone nearby and have them duel me. Dying resets the timer fine.

I don't know if anyone else is having these problems, but here is what i am having issues with.


1. I have 55 medicine use, but I can't use my enhance packs, eventhough they are only 52 medicine use.


2. I experimented with the ease of use and everytime I was successful, the required Medicine use got HIGHER!



Don't know of any other problems because I can't use them yet.

The Ds I make have 757 base and 11173 dration on the action buff and 720ish base and 8600 duation on the others.

And btw, you have to have at least Advanced Wound Treatment before you can use enhance paks, regardless of your medicine use skill. Thats when you get the /healenhance ability.

I was making some enhance Bs today for kicks and I saw that they were 56 medicine use required (I only have 55 atm) so I put an exp pt into ease of use and hit experiment and the requirement GOT HIGHER! It said amazing success and it went from 56 to 60. What the **edit**?
