Thread: So i got griefed in Coronet a few minutes ago on Bria...

I'm a relatively new doc so am just learning about the hassles and difficulties of being a doc. So i buff myself in Coronet starport before heading out after server reset (not the smartest place to buff maybe). Someone comes up and asks for a buff so i think sure, ive used bivoli so i might as well.
Anyway a huge line forms and halfway through i run out of bivoli, i thought i had a crate somewhere but its not on me. doh! so i apolgise to people and explain that i'll buff them still if they like for less but the stats will be lower.
This is when the trouble begins and i get 2 guys Ezzaa and sidekick VVENOM shouting and swearing at me, calling me a bad doctor and demanding free buffs (they were right at the back of the queue).Then they challenged to a duel! I'm just a doc!!...
Anyway, needless to say i will try and make sure i don't run out of bivoli again...
Thanks to Pinheads for rescuing me by handing me some bivoli - good lad

Screw them dude. If they are jack @22's '/add ignore' them and dont buff them, put them on your not buff list. You dont have to take that, and if you REALLY want to get back at them, announce to your buffline taht these people are griefing you and theres free buffs to the first 3 people who will grief them back for a while, if no one does it, pack up and go to another planet.
U worked hard for your MD, its not YOUR fault they are drug addicts, im sure you didnt push buff into their veins to get them addicted. tell them to 'Slag off and go run rancor missions unbuffed @22 hatt'

Friend this happens to everyone. Don't feel bad at all.
Anyone who is a doc has done it. Anyone who is not a doc has sat in a line only to have to go to another line. It is no ones falt so don't worry about.
Just role with it.
Of course I would have loved to have been you when they challenged you to a duel. You were buffed, they were not 
. As a doc/tk there is no way I would loose in that situation. Ahhh now that would have been satifying.

SOO fun when your a CM/DOC. Idiots try to duel you so you accept, disease the heck outa em, then /endduel

You should try to have some fun with your line in a situation like this...
Right after the chef change, before chefs had figured out that havla was useful and wouldn't make it, I used to announce that anyone who brought me +100 or better havla could skip the line. Almost always worked -- chef alts would appear out of nowhere...
No reason you can't do the same thing with bivoli, even if the effect isn't as entertaining for the people waiting in line...

I agree add ignore is a docs best friend
When I buff myself I am sorry to say I run and hide by one of the walls in the starport away from prying eyes if I don't feel like the hassle.

Please tell us what server you are on. I am on Chilistra and several other docs including myself have a do not buff list between us.
Soon these rude people will understand how being polite will get you much farther than being rude.
I havent had hardly any rude people, but the ones that were...they will never get abuff from me again.

Don't worry at all about this, it happens. Yes, your first mistake was probably buffing yourself in front of everyone and it was very considerate of you not to let the rest of the biovoli go to waste, 15 minutes is a good amount of time after all. One thing though, don't let your line get to long when you have some place to go. Often times, especialy in cnet, there's other docs there too so you can redirect people to their lines and everyone is happy, well sorta. As for those other two guys yea, addignore and move on

I am a Master Doc on Tempest, and I have about 20+ people on my ingore/nobuff list. A few have actually gotten off the list late at night when there are no docs buffing, and they are real desperate. I got a tell from someone once saying that his friend had been trying to contact me but was obviously on ignore. I told him why as I put a note on the friends list. The ignored char paid me 100k to take him off ignore and wanted to apologize. He did apologize and even paid 15k for the buff. People can and do change.
You have to look at buffing as a business person would. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
