that its doctors like me who give us a bad name...

i'll set the scene,i decided to go hunting on dath so i got a dancer and a musision bufffrom some guild mates in our city on dantoonie (near the jedi cave) went for the shuttle, 7 mins wait so bike to the minning outpost to save soem time then shuttle to coronet, by the time id landed in coronet id already lost 15mins of the musision buff due to 'waiting about' so im running to get a ticket to dath when i get a tell and it went some thing like this.

Player - can you res me ?

Me - whats it worth

Player - lol fool, its players like you who give doctors a bad name!

Me - if you think im going to drop what im doing to come res you for free then the only fool round here is you

as i shuttle to dath he sends me another tell

Player - i would have given you some res packs! fool!

now i did not bother to tell him that for 'afew' respacks i would not have droped what i was doing to go res him as IMO to waist even more of my entertainer buffs for that just is not worth it, but i did send him this tell,

Me - i dont see why i should, heal, res, cure posion, desease or anything else for free, if you were a doc then you would know why i asked what its worth cos everyone and there dog seem to think these are free services that they have a god given right to, so obviously you arnt a doc and have never been one.

Player - fool!!!!! i am a doc (i for get the rest but something about) stuff you why dot u carry on seeling you crummy buff packs

Me - lol i dont usualy buff for cash, iv just landed in dath and as for my buff packs they are around the 900 mark, hardly crap!

he also told me that he had just been fighting 36krancor on dath (when i told him thats where i now was) but it suddenly struck me, if he could solo those missions how come he died in coronet or just out side, i never did ask where he was exactly, ok maybe PvP.

but my question is, am i giving 'us' a bad name ? persoanly i dont believe i am, but some people seem to think so!

Proberly just best to add him to your ignore list, and forget about it. Also to avoid things like that keep your doctor tag hidden.

ME: All right all done

Player: Im not going tip you

ME: Okay

No less then 10 minutes latter, Hes back bars all black again? buy way he couldnt of left cornet the city I was waiting on shuttle after healing him.

Player: Fix my wounds

Me: sure make me arrmor

Player: what ? your going make me arrmor?

ME: No your a arrmor smith you make me some

Player: okay 150k for some good compostie

Me: okay 160k to fix your wounds

Player N00b wound fixxing is free

Me: Lol not when Im only doctor on at 1 in morning

Player I rather wait

Me K see you after server shutdown

I get on shuttle. think he said some foul language after that but my friend I was talking to were laugfing to hard about the deal. to read every thing he said.

Yup. I know most of you know I refuse to buff the public, thanks to idiots like this I won't do anything for anyone I don't know.

Although, I was in Lok hunting avian the other day (do I do anything else?) and out of no where I see this enraged kimo gila, which of course a novice artisan laying underneath him.

I heal the guy, kill the kimo, and send him on his way.

Apparantly he was very new, and had decided that Lok was a nice place for sight seeing and the next thing he knew he was knocked off his speeder looking at a rather big lizard.

He didn't tip me, but I'm not poor either, I just hope that experience shed a good light on the game; we all know there are way too many negative ones.

I have one for you too.

The other day I had just stepped out of the Coronet star port entrance to go to the bank. It was about 1 or 2am and I was not buffing that night. You should also know that I always have buff packs on me, but when I am not buffing I just say that I am out of buff packs so I do not have to deal with the begging and such. I also do not put my Master Doc tag up unless I am buffing.

Zenny (His actual in game name): You buffing?

Me: No, I am out of buff packs right now, sorry man.

Zenny: WELL GO GET SOME NOW, THERE ARE ALLOT OF PEOPLE HERE WHO NEED TO BE BUFFED. (Yes, he wrote it all in caps to yell at me.)

I thought he was just joking, so I was wating for a LOL or something like that...

I got nothing except:

Zenny: HURRY UP AND GO GET SOME PACKS, I DO NOT HAVE ALL NIGHT.

Me: Just sanding therein total disbelief, not knowing what to say, and still thinking this has got to be a joke.

Zenny: DAMN DOCS, SCREW YOU THEN YOU UGLY FISH HEADED DOC WANNABEE. (I am aMon Calamari).

I was in total shock, because at this point I knew it was not a joke.

I had just met my first total arse hole in the game.

Needless to say, he had just earned himself a lifetime buff ban from me... And most of the time I am the only one buffing from 1am till shutdown.

Wow, I'm nearly a novice doc now and have been reading the forum for a couple of days now. I am a bit disturbed by the treatment you got from this guy. I have to admit that behaviour like that would have resulted in a swift duel request from me as well as an ignore.

I'm sorry to hear you docs get treated like that sometimes. I guess I'm going to have to thicken my skin a bit I guess.

On a positive note, Doctors are some of the nicest people I have met in the game (along with commando's). I am always most polite when dealing with you guys.I hope I'll be able to add something to the community as I work my way up the tree.

All of us Doctors across all servers should have a 24 hour buff strike. Maybe then theser retards would start to apprechiate what we do.

Yeah I know what you guys are saying, one day I was at the starport in coronet Master Doctor tag on and I all of a sudden I get this tell ( 7am) You **edit**!!! Im like what your overt, Mind you im a Master Combat Medic too hehe being bad. He goes your the only doctor out here and your overt. hehe was my reply but people do tend to think were there to serve there need all the time.

I was in a pretty bad mood yesterday after messing up some schematics and getting way behind in my schedule.

(So bad that I had to build 3 more factories just to try to catch up...)

So anyways I live ride outside Coronet soI thought, *idea*:

I put my master doc tag on, and just told people I will not buff them. I did that for a few hours.

Funny how much better it made me feel.

ignore i will but i dont see why i should have to hide the fact im a doctor, i worked hard to reach master like most others have and i refuse to hide my master doc tital, i wear it with pride and have done for the last 5months and shall continue to do so.

Exactly what I do. What really sucks is when someone tries to get to know you so your their "friend", when really they're just after your buffs. It's funny when I'm in my store and people send me a /tell and want a discount on my products. One of the reasons whyI stopped making meds.
