Thread: Is my crafting that bad?

I currently sell buffs that are 2510 (913 base), all six stats,all sixlast 3hr 27min.Last night in c-netI was rather insulted by another doc buffing that was sending me tells to buy his buffs because his are better than the ones I am using, this was his exact words. I told him I just made a bunch of good ones and he said "umm ok, well mine are better than the ones you been buyingfrom <insert vendors name here>". Again I told him I make my own and he finally dropped it.In his buff line he was offering 2535 for 3hr and 30min. What am I missing here? AmI not making a competitive buff? 2535 seems to be the average on my server lately, so, is a difference of 25 buff points and3min reallythat big of a deal?

nope, not to us... the people in the know..
but the hunters/pighters etc.. for some reason love to see higher numbers.. without really thinking they would go to the other line cos its 25 more than the other one..
who knows, ive never understood..

I think those are quite good, Id blow that DOC's comments off and keep on buffing with what ya got.

OMG DUDE i'd never buy a buff that was 25 less and 3 ENTIRE minutes less than sombody elses

thats a great buff right there, thats high on Ahazi and i consider us one of the better doc communities. Keep on selling them.
p.s i'd take a short line to a +25, +3 minute buff any day, any where.

Thank you for the input. I dorealize that I am only an 11pt doc at the moment, and in light of this, Iwas beginning to wonder if I should hurry and capture that last point.
I will carry on as normal.

Don't worry about what they have to say, i am on the same server as you and my buffs are almost identical to yours at 912 - 31 uses - 3 hours 27 mins - med use 89 this is using most of our servers best spawns, yes it's possible with a few resource changes to go a bit higher but generally people dont need this high for a buff.
Mostly for myself i run around with buffs of 2150 and i have absolutly no problems unless i am going for high end mobs, so keep up the good work.

As a doc, and as a consumer the 25 points would not matter to me. It seems as though the other doc thought you were buying buff packs from another doc, and he was trying to generate business for his buff vendor. Next time just tell him you craft your own and he will probably go away. If you are a little more antagonistic, you could have replied, yes your buffs are better then mine...and then reduced your price. You would have got a few hate tells, but then he would have left. I dont know anyone that would pay 15k for 2535 when they could get 2510 for 10k.

That may be the problem, he was selling for 15k and I sell every day for 12k
