OK... I've had it, I have seen a growing number of random players harassing doctors and the customer lines. I can't think of a reason why they are doing this, one day a few weeks ago I had a fat pink wookiee demanding free buffs from me and I simply ignored him and the other day I was buffing a line of 6 people and some goofball drags spineflaps to the spaceport and spams his launcher pistol around my area and all he gained from me is a /denyservice and last night my guildmate was buffing and someone steps infront of the buffing customer and demands buffs and persists by putting his pet overtop of the buffing customer and doctor then my guildmate stops the buffing session and leaves his 9 customers behind all impatiently waiting.
Anyone else having these problems lately? Any advice on what should be done? My guildmate and I both did /report and /denyservice.
A word to those of you that harass doctors that if you keep this up, you're going to find much fewer doctors available to assist you in the near future.

what is /denyservice?
anyways, in regards to your post i haven't been bothered with anything other than the typical r u buffing d00d
but if someone does park a pet over you just type /target <patient name> and continue your business
i don't buff the public as much as other docs so maybe its just that you see a lot more people than i do. its only logical that the more people you service themore likely you are to run into jackasses

/denyservice is a command for entertainers, so that they can dance for other customers and still be able to deny a particular person. Im pretty sure this is what it is, anyway.

Yeah I was being harassed a lot lately because of my buffing tactics, I even posted in my galaxy forums, and basically they decided I was a greedy doc "crying."
The pet one is the worst, where the griefer pulls out a large pet and has it sit on top of you, or on top of the people in the line.

People like that are why i stopped doing buff sessions...
I buff friends, friends of friends (all for free) and then do the occasional overt buff for cost

Im not a doc, but heres my story of people being asses in the buffing line:
a week ago I was in coronet and there were 2 lines, I was in line a and 2 people from line B start yelling about how they should cut. they run over and start yelling to the doc to buff them, I start emoting them and I send the doc a tell with there names and that they were cutting, he said thx and told them to get lost. well then they thought up a genius idea!!! to pull out every pet they could and duel each other so they pull out a kimogila,2 XL sized grauls, an AV-21 each(all on top of the buffing line) and then start shooting each others pets with launcher pistols and chjatting about how they are l33r dewds and try to sneak into the buff line. I send to doc a tell of the line order in front of me (5 people) then wait the couple mins and hightail it out of there, as I head back from the mind autobuffer my sever has in coronet i see that they got there fair retribution they had managed to disable each others avs21s somehow.

heh they're buttholes, both of them, and they both probly couldnt resist the temptation to blow the others AV21s to hell once they got bored of pestering you =)

Honestly this is how i deal with jerks....
1. I ask them to stop.
2. I tell them to stop.
3. I ask everyone in the buff line to report that person for harrasment - about 99% of the people do.
4. I tell them if it happens again I will give a free buff to anyone that sends me confirmation (screenshot) that they reported the person for harrasment...this one obviously borders on violating the TOS - but hey...the jerk harrasing me is violating the TOS.
5. If it persists I hire newbs to follow the person around shouting " (insert jerks name here) Why do you deny our love"
6. If it gets REALLY bad... I hire combat professions to follow the guy around and kill steal all his missions.

this all really sucks, and i hope my server doesnt get like this
i think the simple solution is to only accept bank tips, which u should be doing anyway, and then just ignore spacial entirely
use email to find out whose next, then use /tar xxxxxxx to get ther person targeted for your buff macro
Even if the idiots sit down on the buff line, u should be able to buff everyone np

So the two disabled av-21's sitting in front of the ticket collector at coronet is from this incident? Hmmm...a somewhat hilarious ending for has bees been mystyfing me for a couple of days. Your experience (although nothing as bad has ever occured to me) is one of the bigger reasons why I dropped doc. Besides, I have found that there a fair number of docs on my server (tempest) and I usually dont have much of a problem getting buffed. And If I dont find a doc, I just run out of town until I can set up a camp, set up one and sit in it until I am ready to scream from boredom (takes all of abt 10 mins for that to happen). Then I head back into and see if anyone is buffing. If not, rinse brain of boredom thoroughly and repeat. Hahaha

Is there something im missing?? i used a system messages only tab and use that for tips and email for bank tips... had nothing wrong when i buffed in sessions....
