wowI must be doing something wrong 
.....I have a DOC/TKM wookie character and I find most things a challange at some point, In fact it took me ages to make TKM.

I am hearing many people saying that buffs will be nerfed in the next few weeks.... is there any official statment about this? The rumor says that there will be a new cap on buffs of about 1500.... I would like to know if this is completely false or if i missed a post about that coming into effect in the very near future

The Sandbox will be started up soon enough.
Once the presumed NDA is lifted on it....we will all know.

The only assumption I am making right now is that doctor buffs in the future will no longer allow you to endlessly spam specials. I think that's a pretty safe statement.
As long as you can fight more efficiently with buffs than without, we'll be fine.

THere will be changes to buffs and Armor as part of the combat Revamp but nothing definitive.

I am a master rfileman/ranger who uses NO buffs and NO armor. I can solo ANYTHING in the game that is not 100% resistant to my weapons. How? I use tactics, ranger comouflage, and distance to my advantage. Buffs allow a player to solo anything with ZERO tactics and ZERO risk. People have no fear of anything in this game becasue buffs let them go toe to toe with any mob and simply beatit down through attrition. I see riflemen in full composite and full buffs fighting Rancors at point-balnk range. THe use of buffs allowed these people to master their professions without really learning HOW to play their professions properly. These people will be the most affected when the buffs get nerfed. I can't wait for buffs to get nerfed. I don't want them to go away completely but I definitley want to see their effectiveness limited - especially in the secondary stats department.
PS: I have a Doc alt and I still want to see buffs nerfed - HARD.

is all i can hear when people talk about buffs. Does anyone remember playing the game before buffs? Does anyone remember playing the game with the old buffing aka unstable system?
The game is playable and just fine. No one will unsuscribe... well those people who sit around Cnet all day and thats how they make their money might get pissed. But hey, I'm sure people who stand in those lines all day would like some balance.
