STOP PUBLIC BUFFING!
Stop buffing publicly altogether.....
Buff your friends and guildmates....
Make it near impossible to find a Doc (like the good ol days)....
Problem Solved!
Yes the rookies will have there fun for awile - but let them - there buffs will run dry - most of them won't know how to craft good buffs or have the resources to make them like the good doctors do.
Raise the prices of your buff packs to compensate for the stoppage of public buffing - making it hard for rookies to make a profit buffing publicly.
And go out and enjoy the little content we have hehe......Make the population remember how nice it is to have doctors and how needed we are....
If your stopped and asked for a buff tell them 50K - If they laugh /addignore and go about your business....
In no time people will have no problem paying 50K for a buff and they would be actually thanking you for the oppertunity to pay you for a buff.
(I know alot of you do not public buff anymore....but teach the younger generations of Doc's out there...there is more to SWG than sitting in front of a line of 75 angry people in coronet waiting on your buffs, crying that its taking forever and your prices are insane.
Enjoy the game people.....and let them worry about getting buffed

I only buff guild m8s, and some timeI help noobs ( players how have playedunder a week! ) and give them a buff fore free. And when someone give me a tell fore a buff, I also say a high price! It can be any fun working your ass off too craft ok buffs and then sitt and buff in public all day long!! Thats not playing the game, or what?

I was reminded how much I HATE people that complain about 15K buffs yesterday. I logged in, buffed myself up and ran Janta/Mokk missions from an Improved Job Market townat what I would consider a leisurely pace stopping a few times to buff guildies. I was chatting on guild and group chat the entire time and just going about my business.

I was chatting on guild and group chat the entire time and just going about my business.My buffs still had about a half hour to 45 minutes left on them when I logged out and I had made 800K from the missions I was running (not to mention looting 4 crystals - it was a good day). So the next time someone whines about paying 15K for something that they can then use to make close to 1 Million credits on I am going to verbally unload on them.

This is interesting.
When I posted about how I dont charge that much for buffs(12k) and explained that I make enough money(dbl profit)...I got flamed for telling people how they should play the game.
Isnt this post doing the exact same thing.
If I want to...I'll run janta/rancor missionsto pay for buffpacks and buff people for free.
Quit complaining...If you dont buff the public...or havent buffed the public in a long time...where do you get off thinking that there is an issue? The only issue I ever see is doc's complaining about buff/buffpack prices. I have yet to see someone complaining that buffs cost too much....and yes, I do buff in public sometimes.
This is just another rehash of an old rehash that gets posted every week.
Sheesh let it go.
I say docs on chilastra in cnet doin 2300 for 8k simply because they wanted xp and there were 5 there buffing.
It is supply and demand.

and why was it again that we need to be mean to doctors who chose to sit and buff? mabe it is fun for them. every person they buff is one less to bother you right?

i try to buff public for at least an hour or so a day.
i also buff those poor newbie guys who have no idea for free.
i also give crates of stim b's to starter medics and generally be nice.
why? i here you ask.
because when i was a newbie i had the help from skilled players

Doc 0440 on Chilastra.
I no longer offer buffing in public. Why because I gotten sick and tired of asking for 10K to 12K for buffs that where even though 89-90 med use had the same stats as a master doc buff at 91+ and people did not want to pay a non master doc.They were more willing to pay 12K to 16K for a master doc.
Will buff guildies and group. Have not been abled to buff for weeks now, have not been abled to find any buffpacks with med use 89-90. My supplier is now doing the the jedi village quest so he is no longer reliable as a supplier.

jeeze..i remember starting the first thread about raising buffing over 10K and now i regret it.. people just need to get over it.. price your buffs at what you want.. mine are 15k normally.. 30k if i gotta travel to you.. and 25k if i'm the only doc around.
Trying to organise strikes or change what others buff for is just silly.. you'll never convince all the Drs that prices need to rise.. there will always be the stupid ones buffing for 10k and under... let them go.. they hurt no one but themselves and the players.

I became a master Doc only recently, but I have 8 months of experience, so I had a lot of good ressources, good crafting stations and tools so I was able to make my own. Usually in MO or Coronet there are some CRAZY lines and the Docs charge 15K. I ALWAYS charge 25K, 30K if I'm alone (especially in MO).
Why? When buffed they can make 2 janta missions in 2.5 minute or so if the missions are close (I am also Master Swordman, and I timed it). What does 25K represent when you can make 60K in 2.5 minutes with a 3 hours buff ? And I hear fu*kers complaining that this is too expansive. /addignore is now my favorite command
