IMO there are too many things a doc can do while in combat to have macros, at least at this point and time.

It's too bad, but when I go out with people, I'm either barely saving someone from dying last second, or bringing them back to life. For example I went to go help with someone's village quest, the one with the sith and the turret crystals, and I ended up rezzing 5 or so people, don't think I ever used a dizzy cure or a stim at all. So as far as macros go, I don't have any and am willing to bet most docs don't either.

I use a recursive healstate ,heal poison/disease macro. Its the only things I see usefull as far as macro's. Also have the clearcombatqueue hotkey to ensure I can let those macro dowhat they are suppose to do.

Yes it does, but in its own order. By adding the argument, you can ensure that states are healed in order of importance -- dizzy, intim, blind, stun would be mine.

And I believe the command above is "/ui action clearcombatQueue"

Aside from that, every PvPing doc should have a looping drag macro --
/dragincapacitatedPlayer;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlotXX;

Last, if you're using an "all heals on one button" sort of macro, I'd recommend putting firstaid pretty far down the list -- assuming you're buffed, health and action bleeds applied by players are *never* worth the mind it takes to heal them, and mind bleeds are only rarely worth it (since you'll typically regen the bleed damage before the next tick, whereas the mind cost of firstaid is rather high...).

Hehe, yeah... Although, it's pretty tough to cover 30m in 1 second... I have the pause in there because macros w/out pauses seem to mess up digestion... It could just as easily be a .1 second pause though.

As far as the /healstate command, I believe it cures dizzy first. I don't know if it rolls through alphabetically on the states but I remember testing it once and it consistently cured dizzy before everything else. In my opinion Dizzy Kd is still the cause of most pvp deaths.

Personally I use the packs on the hot bar. This allows me to make sure I don't run out needlessly. The recursive macros can get you in trouble when it's time to area cure people and your macro is busy healing you. I wouldn'trecommend using a recursive macro unless you're doing solo pve, or dueling.

A friend of mine was hunting GDK to get scales for RIS, as some of you may know they disease like there is no tomorrow...she was always in need of a doc by her side so i set up a macro to help her while i was AFK. She has a power droid and was able to power my droid when it needed it so I called my droid out and ran the following macro....

/target *FriendsName*

/follow *FriendsName*

/reviveplayer *FriendsName*

/healenhance *FriendsName*

/healwound *FriendsName* (use woundpack A since they'll be getting used to cure only minor wounds)

/curedisease *FriendsName*

/healstate *FriendsName*

/firstaid *FriendsName*

/pause 1

/target self

/curedisease self

/firstaid self

/tellpet follow (this was to keep my med droid from running away during attacks)

/peace (my friend constantly /taunted the GDKs so peacing them kept them off me)

/pause 1
/ui action toolbarSlot00 (Bottle of brandy only consumed if there was room in stomach)
/ui action toolbarSlot01 (Bottle of brandy only consumed if there was room in stomach)
/ui action toolbarSlot02 (Bottle of brandy only consumed if there was room in stomach)
/ui action toolbarSlot03 (Bottle of brandy only consumed if there was room in stomach)
/ui action toolbarSlot04 (Bottle of brandy only consumed if there was room in stomach)

/macro healrepeat (macro was named healrepeat, this looped it)

This macro worked wonderfully and if she wanted to she could have set up a combat macro at a static spawn point and we would have been there until I ran out of meds lol.

I did not even need to be buffed or wear armor me peacing and her taunting kept me free from combat.

She couldn't get on her bike and drive off anywhere though, she would have lost me and my droid but if she had as soon as she was back in range I would commence following/assisting her again.

I only use a couple, one of them is roughly as follows for pve when im doing lairs on Dant and pikets are dizzying me etc and I'm not wearing any armour:

/ui clearcombatQueue;(whatever it is)

/healstate dizzy self;

/curepoison self;

/pause 5;

/healDamage self;

I know its not written out correctly but if you hit ctrl A(?) and check the commands its easy enough to write them yourself.

I can always add a few more states but it seems to work pve very nicely and keeps me out of trouble. I keep all the statepacks on the toolbar anyway so I'm not relying totally on macros to heal myself. It's just that if I have to harvest a load of meat etc I can keep a spinattack macro and just interrupt it withthe heal macrooccasionally.

I'll add some short pauses between commands as people have suggested too
