Simple answer is, Yes...

Note: harvest as much Avian and Herbivore meat as you can before ditching any Combat/Scout skills! You need them, and the market is extortionate at the minute.

Someone can check my math, but I think at maximum efficiency you can buff 30 people an hour. So at $10k/buff, you can make $300K an hour.

BUT, since you won't be crafting your own buffs at first, you'll have to buy buff packs. I sell the ones I make at $800/charge, or $4,800 a buff. So you're only clearing $5,200 a buff. That brings you down to $156K/hour. You also have to buy bivoli, which can be expensive. (Without bivoli, my 2400 buffs only hit for 2100.)

PLUS, it's more like work than playing. Managing a line of 9 or 10 players can get a little stressful.

To me, $156K an hour is not very much. You can run Janta missions for more than that, and have a chance at finding loot. I'll buff the public every once in a while as a service, but I don't really do it for the money.

I dont use my master doc skills for money becuase i pull in alot more soloing misions with my Master TK skills. With TKM/Doc i buff myself and can finish 2 30k missons ever y 5 min. With posible delays I can still pull 600k an hour this way.

Same here. I do Janta and Mokk missions from an improved job market city for 31k per mission. Not counting loot. Jant blood and hide sells well. I make more in an hour running missions than I do in a few hours buffing. No down time waiting for customers, no down time explaining to customer, no down time scanning spacial for tips, no watching my bank and cash balance like a hawk to detect the next Dr scam, no hassle with avain meat, crafting, harvesting and factories. To top this off, MTK only takes 92 skill points and is easy and fast to master plus you can heal your own wounds and poison/disease. I do MD for role playing only and to self buff. I hate waiting in line or looking for a DR when the buff runs out.

I made Master Doctor sunday night and monday I pulled in about a 1.2 million credits in 4 hours. But, the crates of 3 packs per crate for each one ran me about 450k. So what I actually made in 4 hours is 750k which is about 185k per hour.

Inever buff the public anymore, it is just way too much hassle to get the avain just to get loads of jipp from people that think buffs should be under 10k. tbh I make more money selling other med supplies with only a bit of work every week or 2 and none of the hassle.

But thats just me, is whatever bakes your noodle really

If you're after money, stick to your 30k missions.

I think your scenario could be improved upon quite a bit... At least on Valycn.

First of all, remember chef foods. Not just bivoli, but Havla, and T'illa T'ill. Even muon (to keep up with the havla...). Each dose of havla allows you to buff 2.5 people inunder 20seconds. They have roughly 33 filling, and bivoli is usually around 28... So you get 5 insta-buffs per stomach (45 minutes). With T'illa T'ill, you reduce your food stomach filling almost enough for another dose of havla, and you can drink it every 30 minutes I believe. So lets say 7.5 havla-aided buffs every 45 minutes, although not all together. Lets say all of those take a full minute, since you have to target the next person...

Now, in the other 59 minutes, you can buff once every 15 seconds. Lets call it 25 seconds, to account for things like pulling out more packs, and people who can't remember how much you charge. So that's about 39 more sets of buffs, assuming your line doesn't flag... So lets say 46 sets of buffs per hour, in ideal conditions. A possible gross of from 460-690k (10-15k per buff).

If you were to buy packs from me, you could get something around 875 power, 3.5 hour duration for in the vicinity of 450 credits per charge. You could also buy higher powered packs for a bit more per charge, but since I'm working out a max profit scenario, lets stick with these. They'd hit2397 with +24 bivoli (which should be cheap and readily available, unlike +25 bivoli...), +25 wound treatment clothes, and a 110 droid.

So, 450c/charge is 2700/set. I can get bivoli for around 1k/charge, havla for 700c/charge, t'illa t'ill for maybe 4k per charge, and muon for 240c/charge. Every hour, then, I'm using 4 doses of bivoli (15 minutes per is pretty standard I think), 3 or 4 doses of havla, 1 or 2 doses of T'illa, and maybe 7 muon golds. So, at the high end, 13,480c per hour in food and spice costs.

If you're buffing at maximum speed, and actually do 46 sets of buffs (I've done well overa mil gross in 2 hours before, so I know this can be done...), you're using 124,200c worth of buffpacks. So a total cost of 137,680c and a potential gross of 460-690k.

So, just over 320k/hour profit while charging 10k/set doesn't seem too bad to me.

Even if you up the price of the packs to 600c/charge, you could still make 290k+/hour. (and, if you start paying 600c/charge at my store, you can get packs that'll hit 2500+, so you can probably get away with charging more than 10k... Sorry, not trying to plug myself, just giving examples -- my store provides a good one, as I sell a lot of packs...)

Anyway. There are also things you can do to make line management easier -- macro everything that you might have to say thatyou don't want to have to type, for instance...

I suppose the janta hunters probably make more than 500k/hour when they want to, but buffing can be alright if you're properly prepared for it.

Too much hassle for me too. Some players can treat buffing as a business and apply the right mentality towards it, I cannot. If you think you can handle it buy a set off packs and try for an hour in Coronet, you'll soon know if you can handle doing this for long periods of time.

If you play for fun you'll make little or no money (giving away buffs etc because it feels good to help people out), so mix it with a combat profession, run some mokk or rancor missions and clean up. you could try making meds to supplement your income when you're bored of grinding missions by selling stims and disease packs etc. Personally I think Imake most of my cash from loot drops, but if you work at doc it can make you a very rich man if you want it to.

Stupid Ahazi market, people **edit** if buffs are over 9k, sometimes I see people buffing for 12k with uber buffs, that are only 200 better then mine, I'm hitting for 2315 with my current set. Alot of times I don't even both buffing people because some doc is doing it for 7k with the same power buffs as mine
