Ok, know that AFK med center tumble spammers have gotten out of hand and I agree with buffing the public tumblers. But, some of this is getting rediculous. My roommate was in the top floor of the Theed Med center yesterday tumbling for our guilf leader and our guild leader only when this guy just comes up and buffs his quickness and strength, he was not AFK, he was not spamming requests for money and he was not public. He was a private tumbler to help out a friend. Now, Im not asking to put a stop to the tumbler buffing but at least send a /tell asking what they are doing first. I know this may invite flaming but I just wanted to put in my two cents on the whole deal.

If you doing private tumbling like that, you could do it in your private house or PA hall, or city hospital, or something like that? Then you wouldnt have to worry bout it.

I understand that, it was only that we were all in Theed at the time, and just started doing the tumbling. We tried to do it out of where the public usually does it, thats why we were up in the top floor

This is a question for Agent001.
There has been discussion in the boards about an MD going into a med center and buffing the action pool of a tumbler preventing that character from getting tips from novice docs. On one side there is the opinion that this is a form of greifing punishable by suspension or ban, the other side says there is nothing wrong with it the practice.
Would it be possible to get a difinitive ruling from SOE on this?
Thanks.

The Tumbler question will soon be rendered moot as soon as the new HAM specials go live.
Based on that I doubt that Devs will give a "definitive" answer. But I seriously doubt there will be any suspensions or bannings since the Tumblers are using a special for reasons other thanthey were designed for.

Enhancing the Action pool for tumbling is prefered, enhancing Stamina and Quickness is not.

Yes, I got it wrong but the basic question still stands, if I go to a med center and enhance a tumbler so he is no longer useful to grinding medics and no longer abel to get tips does SOE consider this greifing?

well my opion says there is nothing legally wrong with it as for bannings, but on moral level its not appropriate. However it might be considered "harassment".
Ex/ there is an exploit that allowes people to steal doctors droids and make them walk away. I reported this to a CSR and they said this is an exploit and submit a harassment ticket next time it happens

I think its really FUNNY !!!!! tumblers suck.... you know why? cause the medics go AFK and do not heal players like they suposed to. I hope they nerf tumbling.....

healing the substats of tumbler is greifing and can result in suspensions / bannings. You are interferring in a persons game style. You may not like tumblers but that does not give you cause to ruintheir playstyle no matter what your opinion.
As for those that whine about never finding an actual healer in a med center, when was the last time you saw an actual atk buffer in a cantina? I see more people that are willing to heal then atk entertainer buffers everyday. Medical centers are just the medic's cantinas. Mostly afk employees and the bulk of the traffic in and out is those wanting a heal they cannot provide themsleves. You are just whinning because you didn't get your heal immediately. Ask nicely for a heal in a halfway busy cityand you will get one if it is possible. I've healed more people with my droid then in a med center. Running around screaming "HEAL ME" will not get my attention but saying "Can someone please heal my wounds" will convince me to bring my droid out if you have more then 100 wounds. Some people feel they need to be healed when they have 7 health and 12 action wounds.... sorry but I'm not wasting my wound packs on you.
Certain aspects of this game can be played afk and until that is adjusted you will have to accept it. I used tumblers to complete my medic and start my doc and CM but then stopped because CM can get med XP easier then using tumblers and you actually get to play the game. Hehe, I leveled my doc a few times using poisons and everytime I move my med XP around, CM is the way I do it.
If you buff a tumbler's substats , you are in the same category as those that steel droids. You are griefing one particular player and it results in affecting a few other players. Just because the person isn't atk when you greif them does not make it any less offensive. You may think you are fighting some cause but in reality you are just being an ass.
Buffing tumblers for the joy you get from griefing proves you are of questionable character. You probably enjoy tormenting small animals in RL as well. Whatever your issue with tumblers get over it and grow up a bit. If you continuously buff tumblers, you will get banned.
Enough people will eventually report you and you will loose your account. Is it worth it?

I don't see the problem. In fact I think buffing the stamina and quickness, at least with small (300'ish buffs), can help because the tumbler will lose alot more health by the time they burn their action down. Healing action gives rank xp. Healing health is where the action is.
But I guess the afk macro healers using their crappy stim-a's might get a bit perturbed since they won't get the action heals. Shrug.
