I've been Master Doc for about 48 hours now and just recieved my first complaint. At about 2am (pacific time) I sat down in the Coronet Starport and started selling buffs. On Corbantis, docs aren't easy to come by this time of night so I figured since I'm up usually, that's a good time to buff people. I was charging 18k (15k for imps) for 2200-2300 buffs that lasted just under 3 hrs. Now, this is a bit overpriced, and this price would never fly during peak hours, but, I was the only doc around, and lots of people needed buffs. Then of course I get the one guy that starts whining about the price after about 20 people have paid me. I actually found it rather amusing. No one even responded to him. But I would have been calling him a moron even before I became a doc. Unlike most non-docs, I never really cared about the price of buffs. (The main reason I got doc was that I just got tired of waiting for them.) I always just figured, as long as they're 30k or less, one Dantooine mission pays for them, so who cares. I guess that logic is lost on some people....

Heh.... well I never buff so I don't get complaints. If I did though, my responce would be: "Then don't get buffed".

People don't seem to understand the meaning of "Supply and Demand". If you're the only one buffing and they want buffs, they can either pay your price or take a hike. I occasianally charge 25k for a 2400pt buffs in the early morning, and if I'm asked to buff when I'm not advertising they get charge 40-50k

Heck another Master Doctor complained to me in tells that my price per setwas to low and I was ruining the economy by doing so.
His arguement for his verbalabuse was I doing this to hog market, making myself rich and destablizing the Doctor economy on Lowca.
On Lowca there was a window in how the avian shifted. There was a shift on Yavinof OQ900+ PE610 which was selling at 100 cpu, near the end of this shift. Dathomir was found to have a new shift which was superior to the Yavin shift. Doctors started buying at 100-200 cpu for this Dathomir Avian. This left a window open where one could purchased the Yavin shift at a much lower price. Guess what I purchased in a large volume, the Yavin shift. Then I decided to lower by price, ie transfer my reduced cost on to the customer.
If using one's little grey cells is crime, lock me up and throw away key cause I guilt as charged.
My motto has always been a low yet fair price for high quality product. A guildmate coined a phase, Meno the WAL-MART of med supplies.

I ignore most tells asking for buffs because most people get made when you tell them no. The main reason i stopped buffing people was people who complained about prices or waits. I'll buff the public sometimes but its more for amusement and it's always free. I just get a laugh out of seeing people's reactions
