I have recently become a MD and have started line buffing, and it sucks!
What I can't figure out is why some of us (most) are only charging 10-15K per buff?...It really makes no sence considering as a Master Rifflemen and paying 10K for a buff I could make that incredibly easy in one single mission. I have friends that are TKM's and can make 250K per hour doing rancor missions....I personally have started charging 20K per buff and I am thinking of raising that price. I don't care that some guy beside me in CNET is only charging 10K because once he gets 20 people in his line I start getting the impatient people paying the 20K for a shorter line. I truely believe we should increase our buff price as a whole to a much higher price. Do the math 250K per hour from paying 10K for a buff?....that is criminal.
Even lower paying missions such as Aa'kuans at 8500 in a single hour a person could easily make 85K 10

Even lower paying missions such as Aa'kuans at 8500 in a single hour a person could easily make 85K 10 missions in one hour is not that hard for a min 2 hour buff (take in to consideration the rest of the buff time spent in travel and mission selection time) 170K?.....I say as a whole our buff's should be at least 50K and I do not think that is unreasonable.
I am open to both arguments and agreements, Please MD's as a whole start increasing your prices!!!!

This is been adressed SOOOO many times.
I am in favor of raising buff prices in general TO A CERTAIN MARK, I think 50k is outrageous.
Not all players use their buffed time doing solo missions blablabla, we should not jerk up the prices just cuz we can blabla if someone else can make money fast we should not do our best at punishing him, just so we'd be rich blablabla etc etc.
there are no new arguments in this. sry 
20-25k is good pricing.

blablablabla...If its been addressed soooooo many times then maybe this should be re-addressed for mewbie's like me once and a while. Cause I looked through the board and did not see anything that caught my eye about this topic....I am truely sorry for waisting your time. Please ignor this post if you have already read one simular in the past.

personally i feel 10k for a buff is more than good enough

I'm a Doc/Swordsman and understand exactly what you're talking about. In a normal 3.25 hour buff set, I can go out and kill Mokks and Jantas and make 1.5+ million. I could NEVER ever ever ever make that kind of loot buffing the public. But it all narrows down to what YOU as a Doc want to charge, and how much profit you want to make. Find an area that's well traveled, but isn't populated by Doctors, and you can pretty much name your price. I don't buff the public, but when someone asks for a buff, I tell them 25k because Buff packs are expensive, and I figure each one that I use on someone else, I am theoretically losing 1.5+ million credits, if I would have used that set on myself.
The fact remains though, that people will always play this game the way they have the most fun, and what you are proposing will never catch on. If you don't enjoy buffing the public, then I suggest you pick up Swordsman, and save those buffs for yourself, if you are interested in making money.

Buffs are worth whatever the market determines them to be worth. Getting all docs to agree to charge more than the market price will never happen andit shouldn't happen.

I charge 15K....period. Don't like it, don't buy it I say.
Charge what you want...just keep in mind Jediwhores are starting to undercut everyone to get their precious XP to convert to Force XP.

Who's fault is that? If you can't deal with line buffing then dont do it. They get alot more respectful if they have to track you down for a buff (desperation works).

You're right that even though some of us doctors charge 10-15k, that it can be easily made up. I charge 12k and go out doing random NPC hunts, I can make up 12k on looted credits alone. As said before friends of mine can make almost 500k within the time of the buffs just doing 10-20k missions. The prices should not be raised to something outstanding like 50k a buff, but maybe around the lines of 20-25. In the time that I have been a MD till now, I have made over 20 million credits buffing the public charging 10-12k. Some people are nice at times and tip more, others weasle their way out by tipping 8/9-10k. You're entire post just makes you sound greedy.

I am a master doc/fencer, & when i started the game I made a rule to never buff the gp (General Pulic). I only buff guild members (for free) and a few select people in the game. I didnt become doc for the credits, those of you that do will find yourself constantly harassed w/in game tell's & people telling how bad you suck, your a tool, lets duel, and other profanities that will bementioned inthis postbecause you want to charge whatever it is u charge. I personally find the game more enjoyable, no tells, no stupid remarks about the cost of my buffs or that I ran out of buffs, no stupid tell's when I'm grinding XP on some other planet other than corellia. The game is just a whole lot better when I don't advertise that I am a buff bot. I have endless buffs in stockpile, I make endless amounts of credits & xp because no one bothers me to start a buff line in coronet. Overall, the game is a pleasentexp for me. I feel sorry for all you guys that sell buffs (as a buff bot on coront)for profit, because you can make more money selling your buffs on a vendor (with less hassle & effort) & more time building xp & credit per hour killing stuff. I leave all the trouble & hassle for all those docotrswho are willing to put up w/stupid people that whine & cry about lines, buff prices, and lack of doctors buffing.
I will continue to make buffs for my vendor & you will continue to buy them and sell them to people who are willing to sit in your line to pay for them. And I will continue to be free to do whatever I wish in game while you spend endless hours of wasted time buffing ungratefull children who whine about everything wrong with the game.
One last thing - Thank You for puchasing my buffs & helping me gain wealth in game. Because you purchase my buffs, and I am not a buff bot I am free to gain XP & 180k of credits or more an hour! Thanks to you I am able to gain a dual income w/out hardly and effort on part & I don't have to listen to the gp whine!
