Thread: Area poison/disease cures are bugged....they heal the enemy!

Firstly, props to the devs. The new area cures and resist buffs work great!I was finally able to keep upwith the cms today. There's just one problem. The area effect of the cures heals both your faction, and the opposing faction. Even if the opposing faction is teffed/red to you.

Guess what?
Combat medics have had that problem since day1 of the game with thier area heals. It gets real ugly in guild wars cause you heal your guys and the other side then you got tefs on everybody and your getting shot by own guys who then get shot by more of own guys for attacking you.
Enjoy it. We have had to put up with it now you can

Revenge! Finnaly CMs have something to laugh about at Doctors...(even though this bug wont last lond because the devs pay more attention to Docs than they do to CMs...)
...Even though I dropped CM and mastered Doc a day later...(kinda because of the new stuff)...

Uh oh I sense a Bh vs. Jedi type relationship forming between doctors and cms. Cms will troll the doctor forums and doctors will troll the cm forums. Everyone will say that the other profession is a griefer and doesn't deserve what he has. Each class will demand revamp/fixes in a prompt manner all the while posting slanderous and demeaning statements about one another on the forums..

That's not the ONLY bug--
They're still usable, however they are bugged so that they use up a charge whether the person is poisoned or not. Regular cures don't do this.
Most Doctors, myself included, use a macro that clears combat queue, cures poison, fire, disease, heals states and applies firstaid. With an area cure in your main inventory, you'll use up a charge of your poison cure every time you use your macro to heal a state or put out a fire.
Yes, I know there are workarounds for this, and I'll be implementing them myself. The point is that regular (non-area) poison cures do not use up a charge if the person is not poisoned. Area poison cures do.

im a doctor AND a combat medic (mastered both) and i dont know what forum to trolll AHHHHHH!! someone tell me where to trolll ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Haha another CM bug passed on to the Docs. Same thinghappens with the area heals...... Kind of makes you wonder who should have gotten this area cure. It has all the bugs of the CM toys and even sounds like a CM toy but somehow it became an overpowered doc toy...

IMO, to further the argument, why would it not be intended?
If it's an area cure, same as cm with area heal, how and why would it be to a target. It would seem to me it would be to an area, not to a target.
I like the idea and I think both area heals for cm and area cures should both work like that, like it or not. If you have 10 guys in combat scattered about in a 20 meter radius in battle, what makes you think that you would only be able to apply it to your 10 guys. To me, that's what is unrealistic. (did i just refer to something in star wars as realistic /slapself)
Food for thought....I don't think it is bugged imo.

Well you shouldn't be able to heal/cure anything that is red to you. Period.
