Next they'll be dissableing the /attack command on the corvette.
Its bad enough Dev's are making more and more 2 legged krayt's, 250k HAM's, 100% kenetic resist npc's. Which reminds me, never got a answer as to why a caveman with a loincloth gets 100% kenetic resist...

Retreat allows a Squad Leader to give everybody burst run, is that correct?
Assuming it is, they disabled burst run on the Corvette to keep people from just zooming through it at 100 miles an hour, snagging loot and leaving, without really engaging anyone. So /retreat had to go as well or it provides a loop hole for doing just that.
If it's not related, then I'm clueless...

They already took out normal burst run on the vette. This wasn't a nerf, it was just keeping the gameplay inline.
Now that I've cleared up that it's not a nerf, I would, however, think keeping it in would be at least some cool bonus for having a SL onboard with you. Granted, I haven't played the vette on TC yet since I'm too much of a noob still to hit it, so this might be a dungeon-breaking thing. I know lots of people burst past most mobs in the geo cave, might be them avoiding the same thing.

Who cares if someone burst runs thru it? Its not like they are annoying anyone else, except those in their party. Seeing how the corvette is a spawn for that party only. If its a case of disableing it for looting purposes. Dissable it where it realy matters, like in the POI caves. Thats where the real problem is. There is nothing like clearing out a cave only to find someone had gone in before you and ninja looted all the crates. Fix that problem before worrying about a dungeon that spawns seperetaly for each party...then again, this would make sense.

I'm of the opinion that burst run should be taken out of all of the dungeons and that a secret exit to the genoshan lab should be provided at the back of the lab. To stop people training out of the dungeon.
Three times in the last two weeks my team of people have been slowly working our way down to the back only to be burst run past, trained had ackley snatched then trained again as the other group burst run out.
While my party has always been more than capable of bursting down there ourselves we were there for the total experience and not merely to loot the boss and bail out. We've also always fought our way out to control the spawns and not promote the multiple mob pops that occure in many areas of the genoshan lab.
While the Corvette is an instanced dungeon and burst running really isn't hurting anyone but the group that's in there taking it out forces the teams inside to use their heads and resources cautiously as opposed to simply taking the easy way out.

I agree that /burstrun is a game-breaker in alot of ways. But /retreat gives a 10s burstrun (yes, 10 seconds only) to everyone in the group except the squad leader. It's a sacrificial move, you stay behind to engage the enemy (draw the aggro) while giving your group a chance to fall back to safe distance.
Seems like a perfectly reasonable, in fact practical, skill to use in a place like the corellian corvette. The Dev's just enjoy tormenting Squad Leaders by giving us great places to lead group, where we can't do anything useful.

So do we get a reason as to why it is being removed? Just curious as to how in the world this would give an advantage to somebody grouped with a SL.
