In general it was alot better the go kill that/or go deliver/escort that.
But you could do it a litle more of puzzle like if there was some npc giving hints on the loaction, like bartenders or some guy in the cantina randomly talk about how he fought with a "terrible beast" and lost of somthing like that.

Due to high player demand, we have revamped and reintroduced the famed “Hero of Tatooine” quest. The quest utilizes brand new static and dynamic content. Find the hero and see if you have what it takes to acquire the Marks of Altruism, Intellect, Courage, and Honor. For players who previously completed the quest, you will retain your badges and may complete the quests from where you left off or from the beginning. To start the quest, the player must first seek out and speak with the Hermit of Tatooine…

Have you attempted the Hero of Tatooine Quests? -
What were your experiences?

I've completed Intelligence and Courage. It's a really nice change for quests. The only thing i really hate about it is how the mark of altruism.Once youfind the farmer spawn, you have to go to the cave...and wait in line to get in. A few nights ago, I was in a 20 to 25 person line, and just gave up on it. There should be some way that more then one person can complete it at a time. Other then that, very nicely done.

Experiences so far:
3hours with guildmates camping the intellect badge spawn points :- completed
6 hours plus driving/walking/riding around the courage spawn area:- Nothing
6 hours driving/walking/riding around the altruism spawn area:- Nothing
Havent even attempted the pirate quest leaving that till last.
While i understand the need tomake it difficult it seems the current formula for content is make it impossible via super battle droids or make it so time consuming that people quit trying.

Finished last two quests. No problems seen. I would like to thank the Devs for revamping this quest and for doinggreat job on it! The Farmers house looks great! Just wish players could have that many items in our houses. lol
Can we get a quest like this for each planet and each profession?

So far ive managed to get Intellect and Altruism.
Intellect was fine, no problems. Altruism I had one problem, when I went into the cave, the Boulder, bomb and Family had not spawned. I had to come back out, walk through the WP (Which is quite a way away from the entrance to the cave) then go back into the cave, goto the room on the right, come back out of the cave AGAIN, and then go back in for the Mission bits to spawn. After that it was fine.
Apart from that it was pretty fun.
Still hunting for spawns for the other two. Unfortunatly they seem to be pretty camped. (I was lucky with altruism as I made agood guess as where he would be and picked him up pretty quicky. The campers wernt happy.... but you snooze you lose!!)

I find the boar and BH spawn (in the major cities) pretty hard to find. The quest is ok..but it takes alot of patience and riding around looking for spawns which can take ages
I loved it when the stormie took the pirates away, though

Hi - very good job here! I'm sure you are going to get a lot of complaints here about the spawns being too difficult to find (*sigh*), but my experience is that the spawns are challenging to find, but not exceedingly so - so far I've found the honor and the courage spawns (both within30 minutes of setting out to look for them, and without having to resort to ranger track).
What I really like, though, is that finding the spawns is just the first step to most of the quests. For example, you don't just have to talk to the hermit, you have to find the lair and dig up the skull before the hermit will give you the rest of the quests. Likewise, finding the pirates / moisture farmer is only the first step to those quests.
I was particularly impressed by the work that you guys put into the pirate quests (honor). The farmhouse is really well done (the patio out back is great), and the npc dialog is very funny! It seems to me that the ranchhouse will be a really cool travel destination even for people who might not be doing the quests.
Thanks for taking the time to implement these new quests-

Last year -
- spent weeks, but got mark of intellect on 2 servers and mark of altruism on 1...finding the intellect spawns was one of the most rewarding thing in the game...back when there were very few badges
Now -
- got all 4 + Hero all onTuesday...far less work...and a little less rewarding
- talking to Hermit..getting there was a challenge..but didnt see the point to getting the skull..seemed silly
- Mark of Altruism- as others said - like waiting for a theme park ride...camped and people getting kinda upset about the whole thing...like when someone "cut the line"
- Mark of Intellect - same as before...but inside cities and towns..kinda less rewarding..o'well
- Mark of Courage - killed the beast...no biggy..I got lucky and spent 20 mins looking
- Mark of Honor - I LOVED this one....searching the desert was like the days of old when I was looking for intellect. I made my WPs and went back and forth looking for the pirates....Although it seems a bit silly that pirates would ask for my help after I beat the crap out of them....spawn was kinda screwy too...as I got 5 pirates and 2 leaders all in the same group
- more on honor.......But the whole interaction inside the house was great...talking to them..the intercom..and then the ST that show up to drag them away....great job...real fun

I've finished Intellect and Honor, I'll be looking for Courage tonight and Altruism later. The quests are nicely done. Looking for the randomly placed spawns can be rough, but that's what makes it a "quest", I guess. I especially liked the NPC interaction that takes place at the end of the Honor quest, and hope to see more like that in the future.

I have, what I like to call the 'old school' or 'real' badge of intellect, from when it was actually difficult.
How will the hermit react? Is there an item I miss out on for having aquired this before this patch? I'm weary of talking to the hermit until I know the answer here.
Thanks,
Zzyn
