l Droid Damage Repair Kits and Droid Wound Repair Kits fficeffice" />

l Droid Battery consumption rate halved (enabling them to last twice as long)

l Droids will no longer be susceptible to poisons, bleeds, /warcry or /intimidate

l Combat Droids will have all the fighting functionality of a regular combat-capable creature (up to CL10)

l These options will function like creature pets.

l All players will have the ability to own and operate these combat droids.

l A combat droid is a droid that is capable of attacking things, in addition to other potential droid capabilities that can be added to droids currently.

l The normal crafting process is used, and a combat module is included in the droid.

l Combat modules will only mount in droids capable of combat. Combat modules can be placed in any of the general droid module slots that already exist on droid socket components and droid chassis, seen as optional slots during the crafting of the droid.

l Combat module is crafted in exactly the same fashion as other droid modules, using a draft schematic, resource ingredients, and previously crafted component ingredients.

l Combat modules can be crafted at varying quality levels, which can be seen when the module is examined.

l Combat modules stack and if more than one of them is placed in a single droid, they have a cumulative effect.

l To have the strongest combat droid, six 100% combat modules must be used in constructing a droid.

Are all of these are working correctly?

Are combat droids helpful to non-combat and new characters?

Are combat modules stacking?

Are your droids no longer susceptible to poisons, bleeds, /warcry or /intimidate

Are the Droid Damage Repair Kits and Droid Wound Repair Kits working properly?

I'm not sure if that stuff works or not, but thanks for stealth-nerfing my prenerf probot.

Prior to the publish my probot was:

  • 40% Resists to All

  • Medium Armor

Now, my probot is:

  • 12% Resists to All

  • No Armor

I don't think it's right for you guys to retroactively nerf legacy items.

2 questions.

1) Where are our blastomechs? why send us a picture of this in the newsletter advertising the Droid Invasion if we cant go to our local DE and get one?

2) Whats with the wallpaper? completely unattainable.

so far, this droid invasion is looking exactly like the crackdown

It appears that the modules are working correctly- as far as the ones i've tried to build.
Combat modules are stacking, at least all the ones I built today stacked.
I'll test the poison and bleeds when my CH friend comes online with her pets
the repair kits are working wonderfully... thank you for those

TH -

Most NEW things are working as intended, but we are having some issues nonetheless. Please see TheRealTK421's thread on the DE forums:

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=droid_engineer&message.id=72085

We're trying to track problems down there, but like I said, most of the stuff you just listed seems to be working One of our biggest concerns is how armor is working (or not working) and how the resists seem to shift after pulling them out once. Please have someone monitor that thread though, since I gotta feeling after this patch and the next, we ain't going to get much attention for quite a while!

I have never really used droids in combat except when i was really low level and needed something to keep creatures away from me, wich is because they havent been of any use in combat except for tanking.

There were two things ive been looking forward too with this new publish, something new and excting like the new droids featured in the wallpaper and talked about in the rumors. Now we can use droids in combat but i dont see why there arent new droids? that actually look like combat droids. The idea of this publish is to make droids more interesting to make the players be interested in becoming Droid Engineers, with just adding some damage to the droids without adding new models i dont see that happening, thats like putting a better engine in a really old volvo, wont make people more interested in it, it will be the same old ugly volvo but now it goes 50km/h faster.

Thats the case with droids now how i see it, i just really cant see a R2 killing something, or a Probot being of any more use than medical treatments and torture, maybe tracking, but fighting? no i dont really see it, and taking away their armor makes them as useful as they were before, sure they will be able to deal damage but without the armor there wont be no difference as they will get deactivated faster. I hope the developers see my points and the rest of the players points, weve been waiting for something new and what we have gotten is the same as a nerfed weapon.

I, too, am not pleased with the sudden change to the old probots. The pre-publish-7 'nerfed' probot was widely held to be next to useless in combat (I didn't think so, though I thought the use was VERY situational). Losing all armor, losing over half its resists, and not gaining any damage or h/a/m is a strong disappointment and a bad introduction to 'combat droids' considering any /need/ for combat modules to attain its old numbers (if it's even possible) isn't able to be done post-crafting as all the combat modules are built in during the schematic not aftermarket powerups.
I would like a DE to post if it's possible with a six-combat-module-chassis to get anywhere comparable to what we had yesterday. I already know that there was a problem with armor modules making class 6 modules still give no AR and minimal resists, which was confusingly replied to by TH during the publish's time on TC. Something about us having armor that degraded and could never be repaired before, but now we have the ability to repair it but less armor, or somesuch, which generated a lot of 'huh?' posts but didn't, that I saw, get a resolution. It's pretty obvious that the legacy probot change seems directly tied to this pre-existing P7 TC condition.

DE enhancements huh lol

where are the ones advertised?

Where are the ones that can fight?

Where is any real use for the coolest looking droid and most epencie(ABLL) aside from a crappy 10 item stoage. At leaste make this one hold 30 or so.

Droids are just as useless as before if not more so.

Now why can't we have droiderkas? or similar?

Why not have the figth module visible, like a turrent?

Just wanted to say that the title you have proudly given to publish 7is an insult to the droid engineer profession. Please change the topic of the patch to bugged turretsinvasion , that would be more apropriate.

You know fellas, I really feel for ya. I was a DE since Final Beta. I loved being a DE. Then I read what was upcoming for the DE. So I left the profession after 6 months.I don't think spouting expletives is neccesary, or pointing the finger. After reading the posts on how people feel about it....I am not sorry I dropped it. But I am sorry for those who kept it. Keep up the good fight and best of luck in future publishes.
