Helpful Guidelines:





1. If you keep crashing to desktop, try doing a "Full Scan". You will find the Full Scan button at the bottom of your launchpad after you log in.


2. This thread is for TC Bug Reporting Only and NOT Live Servers. TC runs a different code base than Live.

3. Please post Bugs, Gameplay Problems, Exploits, and stuff that's Broken.




4. Please do not repeat bugs reports that have already been logged here. This thread is checked every day, so if its in this thread, the team has seen it.






SomeTips that are really helpful:



1. If something is gone, please log where the item used to be (Planet, Location X,Y)

2. If you find an NPC that doesn’t work, please provide a Name, Planet, Location X,Y

Mission Terminals in several NPCCities are not working. This is a strange one, for example in Coronet the mission terminals by the starport and the cantina don't work, but the faction terminals inside the cantina do work.


Also some Bank Terminals appear to be suffering also, when you click on them, we get a message that "an error occured during container transfer."


And a Couple of reports of Shuttle Ticket Takers, taking the ticket but not sending you to the destination. Happened once to me in Bestine.

Sorry using my Boyfriends acct, but I still have the problem that my AT-ST was killed my a bug over the weekend. I died, tried to switch toons before I cloned, crashed....Loaded back to my toon, cloned, went overt AT-ST is dead. I filled out a detailed bug report and also PM'd Vass. May I please get an explanation for this?

1. No ability to control faction base terminals, Skystone has 5 rebel bases and 16 turrets of different types, tried overt, covert, owner of the base and not the owner of the base.See no option on the turrets or in any of the bases (we have all types of bases).


2. Exploding Droid module does not explode.


3. "Fog" effect on a entertainer droid(way cool though) crashed the whole city of Skystone. You could run around but others did not see any movement. Spatial chat also did not work, though guild and TCPA chat did work while we were ghosts to each other.


4. When logging in and clicking on "PLAY" on the launch screen 5 different times overnight I received the message "You are not registered for Star Wars Galaxies", after waiting then doing a full scan i was able to launch the game correctly.

All these are all pre-April 13th patch!
(So they are basicly the April 12th bugs)

1) All outside travel in a P.C. (tested in NU, Lakeville, TB) is making
my char loosing visibility off all player placed structures and all
interactional objects stops responding (ie cant use anything,
cant dismount), and spatial stops working. A relogg for about 20min solves this.

2) Ticket Collector (Theed to Bestine):
Collects the ticket but do not transport me...
I bought another ticket and stood infront of the Collecter for a
little chat on /tcpa. All of a sudden I was loading for transport,
but got kicked out to char selection screen.
When I logged on I was in Bestine.

3) All Mission Terminals (General, Reb Faction) I have Used says there
where an "Internal error" and no missions are listed.

4) Shuttle times are not changed.

A couple of bugs i have seen with new maintenance module in droids:


First (not a bug per se - but something i would like to see added)- This is money maintenance only - it does NOT allow the droid to add power to a harvester or factory (making a trip to them still neccesary at least to keep them maintained) - along with it not pulling resources out of the harvesters (which is more understandable). This leaves these new modules pretty much only usefull for maintaining distant houses.


Second - in order to get it fully working - i had to add 6 structures to its list (level 2 module). Structures now have a radial option to add it to a droid's maintenance list. Untill i added 6 and then tried to add a 7th (because i did not know what the max would be) - it would not do anything if i chose to edit the list or start run via the droid's radial menu. But once i did - it started working.


Third - On this test - i added 4 harvesters and 2 houses. the 4 harvesters were put down and not named. As such, in the edit list - they showed up as their code structure name (ex. structure/harvester/... not sure what it really said - but not personal mineral harvester). When i added 1 to the maintenance run list - all 4 disapeared from the available maintenance list and just one was listed in the "added" list. I am not sure if this maintained all 4 (i dont suspect it did) because the server went down just then.

Schematics for wookie armor seem bugged. They do not show up in crafting tools or in Datapad.

As reported last night to a QA, but wanted to make sure people knew it got reported.


Wookiee Armor. If you logged out before the patch of April 13, 2004, with Wookiee Armor equip'd, chances arethat your armor appears to have disappeared. The catch is, when trying to equip anything else in those slots, you get message, slot already in use. Could not equip clothes, bought new ones and tried again, still could not equip. Gloves still worked, can equip and unequip gloves as usual.


I noticed a QA guy online, notified him of this and was suprized he showed up at my location within seconds. Ran some tests at his direction. The armor as it turns out did not disappear as in gone. Its invisible now. So if you have this problem, check your combat logs, you will see something to the effect of Armor T% prevented XXX amount of damage. That is your armor still there doing its job. You just cant see it, or access it to check condition. So be careful if you decide to pick on a naked wookiee, might be in for a rude surprize (o:


On another note, Personal Shield Generators now show up in combat log also showing damage prevented text.

Static NPC cities still have broken BH mission terminals, Player Cities ones work. This needs to be fixed it's alot of hassle running from one end of tatooine to another just to get a mission, find the informant, then fly to the planet it's on.... not to mention when the mark doesn't show up due to other bugs.

After this last patch:


The schematic for the interplanetary survey droid came up - but its giving an error wheni go to start the craft:


Internal Server Error: No owner for player


Also /bugging that and sending in the screenshot.

I don't think this is an actual bug, but I thought I would pipe in on a slight change I would like to see on the new droids.


If the Interplanetary Survey droid is not able to be manufactured in crates, it should be (like the Bounty Hunter Probe Droid)


For the Bounty Hunter/Smuggler Detonation Module. Since this is a one use type of item, I think it should be a droid rather than a module. You should make a "Detonation Droid" (maybe look like the Bounty Hunter Seeker Droid) and make it available in crates as well. If you keep this as a module, you will have people running around with 10+ droid deeds and I think being able to have them in crates would be beneficial and falls within the general scope of the other Bounty Hunter Droids.


Please consider these suggestions,

When you open the network status window and then go onto a shuttle the data in the window freezes and will not return to normal untill you log out.

Newbie stuff:


Get to the starting planet and have the newbie droid, starts talking to me but...


No missions are granted, you can click on the missions and it just says like 'scout mission 1'.


Took brawler skill it asked me what i wanted a knife, staff or axe but no interface to reply


Took Marksman and same thing, asked if i wanted carbine, rifle or pistol, but no interface to choose.


I think after that you are supposed to get the missions but it came up blank, i chose both i need help and tell me later, both end the same, nothing.
