Thread: Those pesky New Player Experience Droids
probably 4 times as I was in the middle of battle last night on a newest TC char my stored droid poppud up in the middle of fighting interfering with what I was doing and cluttering up my screen and once getting me killed.

The ten hours needs to be clarified.
Is it ten hours after getting the new skill or ten hours of time played?
These little green meanies are a pain in the butt! Picked up brawler the other day to play around, and no matter how many times I stored it, or beat it, or slapped it, or whatever - it kept coming back.
I seriously think the option to turn off the litte shats needs to be implemented.
My biggest concern about the droids isn't thedifficulity of deleting them, it's that if you have one, no matter how old your character is, when you log in, it auto-calls itself and greets you when you finish loading. (At least it does for me.) So you need to re-store it in a datapad. Not a "problem", just very annoying.
Maybe it might be worth it to put the auto-call function on this 10 hour timer as well.

How about just getting rid of the stupid things in the first place and publishing an updated manual?
I disagree very much about this. I was amazed at the number of combat medics and doctors I've met who ask me "how did you know how many wounds I have?" I think it was a great way to get people started with a profession.
Furthermore, when starting a character, the rewards were extremely useful. The rental vehicle definitely saved me hours in getting started (so I could run missions faster), and the "small reward" of 2k at the end really helps jump start a character (especially if you do two or three classes).
Not to mention, how many people really read manuals... ![]()
My bad for not being more clear. It's 10 hours of playtime on that character.
I will put in a request for some sort of toggle on that little guy. I'm not sure what that will get us, but it's worth a try eh?
Thanks again for helping me spread the word on this. ![]()
