I think Taurin clearly stated these will come back until your character is at least 10 hours old. I understand this starting either 1) the first time you log in, 2) the date/time the character was created andenteredin the database, or 3) after your chracter has at least10 hours total in the game world. I would recommend doing the quests from the droids too, each profession will grant you 2400 credits, for 5 professions. That's 12000 credits, a free limited vehicle, tree travel ticket, and free cloning.

I love my n00b droid, who would ever want to delete them?

The only thing that annoys me about them is that they pop out every time you log on, meaning you have to store them manually every time. Would it be possible to disable autospawning on login after those 10 hours also?

My bad for not being more clear. It's 10 hours of playtime on that character.

I will put in a request for some sort of toggle on that little guy. I'm not sure what that will get us, but it's worth a try eh?

Thanks again for helping me spread the word on this.

Kind of offtopic, but what are the odds of making a /timeplayed command or something like it. It'sa common feature for lots of MMORPGs and I think a lot of us want to know how much of our life we have wasted away.

I liked my helper droid btw, but I had to delete him because you are only allowed 5. You should it not count towards your limit.

From my understanding, you get these n00b droids when you get a novice prof. What about me, the uber fish *snickers* who has 5 droids already, and then picks up marksman... what happens then?

Might be worth trying to pull for some more intellegence in the code that spawns these things too... nothing too complex, but a few simple checks like "Has this player previosly mastered Artisan but later dropped it?" If so, then as if they want the helper droid or not.

Why not just send a system message to the player, explaining that they cannot delete the droid until x hours have passed?

I like that idea Mattt.
In the email, let them know, can't be that hard

being able to toggle the auto call would be nice. so would be able to set which droid 'auto loads' (for example if itloads my crafting droidautomagically I'd be happy.) I like the auto load feature - just not on the green spray painted droid.

maybe if it was publicly documented there wouldn't be any confusion. We don't have access to your test cases bud.

On top of everything else, that little dude ALWAYS likes to get in the last word...

AFTER I store him, and he disappears, 1 final message box from him pops up, letting me know that I can always recall him...

When I store something, I generally want it to SHUSH!

Is it ten hours after getting the new skill or ten hours of time played?

you people would need clarification on "sit down"... its 10 hours after your char first sets foot on a planet

Lol no kidding, I agree. Too many whiners. But, if you hide an exploit or have some uber loot that isn't documented, they're sure to find that out on their own, and they don't complain about the documentation, double standard these babies have I think.
